The hotel is a long walk from the Marinouchi station. If you're taking heavy luggage be aware that there many steps, up and down as you walk to the exit 8. No elevator at exit 8. Rooms are comfortable with many power points. TV is only Jap with a pay per use set top box. Bathroom is noisy when you... More

This is a very good budget accommodation in Nagoya. You will receive a lot for your money. The location is very good for the summer sumo wrestling tournament i Nagoya. You can walk to the arena in about 15 minutes. This is a typical Japanese budget room with built in plastic toilette and shower. Rooms are small but there are... More

The room that a friend and I stayed in was a double bed room (1- double bed), which was big enough for the both of us to fit comfortably. The amenities of the inn were perfect for a 3-4 day stay, and it was wonderful to have a complimentary breakfast which included rice, musubi, assorted pickles, bread, eggs, and a... More

This hotel located downtown, on 10 minutes from shopping area in nagoya. Check in was fast and efficient, less than 5 minutes to pass me room key. Room is okay, small (6m2), pillow is too hard, no more thing to complain.

Toyoko Inn its a good option to stay in Japan, nice rooms and a free japanese breakfast in the morning. We stay in a couple of toyoko inns, Tokio and Nagoya and for sure we come back again. Totally recomended.

We stayed for a couple days since we were in town for F1. It's in a good location, accessible by the subway. There is also a free shuttle to and from Nagoya station. The room perfect for budget travellers. Good double size bed and had enough space for 2 people. There is also a convenient store nearby for your needs.... More

Staff is very helpful. On the first day we arrived Nagoya, it rained and temperature dropped suddenly at the night. Hotel staff guided us where to find the food nearby. Toyoko Inn is famous as a business hotel. However, this hotel has quite a lot of package tour clients. They usually woke up early and become noisy at the corridor.... More

Good location. Clean and comfortable room. Free shuttle to Nagoya station. They even provide free Japanese style breakfast for all guests. These are all what you need for a budget hotel. Only one downside is the doors need repairing, because you can hear everyone shut with a boom noise on your floor.

I've stayed in 4 different locations of Toyoko Inn hotel (Nagoya and Osaka) in my last trip to these cities. The rooms were small but clean, comfortable and close to the train stations. The free breakfast was a delight :) I would definitely come back to Toyoko Inn in my next visit to Japan.

Toyoko Inns are reliably clean and comfortable, albeit "cozy" (meaning hardly room to swing a cat). This one stood out as especially clean and comfortable. The lobby area was somehow more inviting than most, the staff were friendly, the room seemed just a little roomier than usual. Best of all, the breakfast was good. (Often Toyoko Inn breakfasts are reminiscent... More
