The Japanese style hotel is situated on a hill, from where you have a view of the city. It's about a 20 min walk from the station, at the end it goes uphill. From 3 pm there is a free shuttle service. After check-out they can bring you to the trainstation. Staff is friendly and speaks English. The rooms are...

This is a quirky, wonderful place. It's true that some of the furnishings are a bit old and tired, but the location on a hillside, the fabulous hot spring bath and the great meals - both good food and tremendous quantity - more than make up for it.

By far not the best ryokan i've been, but also the price is different. Tblhe rooms are average, need aome uodate,breakfast is more than ok and location is far from the center. Since is only 15 minutes by walk is not a bad option, but if you are looking a good ryokan, this is not your place.

I have stayed in over ten ryokans and this was definitely one of the better ones. It is well managed and is big enough to have a small boutique hotel feel. Sitting in the area in front of the hotel gives you a commanding vista of the town - a great place to have a drink. If you have wheelie...

Love everything about this place, the view, the locations, the people, the food, the room! I think it was run by a family, all of them are very lovely even though there are only one guy who can speak english but everyone is very polite. The breakfast is amazing, i would recommend if you stay here, get the breakfast package...
