The hotel is good, with nice comfortable room and all amenities needed for a short stay. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room is quite small but this is similar to other hotels in Japan. The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk to the old town and close to the excellent pizzeria Salute of a chef trained... The good; - reasonably good location. - has an onsen - you can pick your own pillow firmness (very cool) - Staff were friendly on arrival The bad - Rooms were extremely small, even for Japan. Felt claustrophobic. - both my wife & I got physically sick from the breakfast. - Staff were cold/ indifferent as we left Conclusion -... More

This hotel seemed like more of a budget business hotel when compared with other business hotels that I stayed at, and was priced as such. Although not all the staff spoke english, the woman who checked me in spoke well and was very helpful. My single room had a double bed. The room was one of the smallest I encountered... More

Takayama or little Kyoto of the mountains is a quaint and popular place. This hotel is an Apa run hotel and is reasonable, clean , well run and walking distant to most of the tourist attractions. The town is quaint with canals running along the streets and wisteria growing on trellises above store fronts. Views are breath taking and hot... More

Overall it was a clean hotel. I couldn't say the breakfast was impressive but it did give us a good start for the days. To me, room size was a big problem. Too small to expect comfort. The onsen was very small but it was impressively clean. However, the fact that it is very small would make me feel awkward... More

I should have guessed that the Super Hotel groups offer very basic accommodation. this would have been fine, but compared to other hotels I have stayed at for the similar or less money, this doesn't cut it. The room was tiny (yes, even by Japan standards) and had an odd smell. Other than this it was acceptable, but the value... More

This hotel may suit you. Minimal in design, rooms are mall but clean and comfortable. Cost is fair for what you get. Breakfast did not suit me: no fruit of any description and overall a fairly modest selection of mainly Japanese dishes. About 10 minutes to walk into the old town but it is flat and there are many interesting... More

This is a nice clean hotel, however, the rooms are very small! We bring two luggages and were difficult for us as we didn't know where to put them because of the super tiny room (I think this is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in my life). Like most smaller hotels in Japan, bathroom is so small. Breakfast... More

This is a friendly hotel that provides a decent breakfast, but they aren't kidding with the time frame it is available for. As typical of punctual Japanese standards, the food is packed away mere moments after the listed breakfast time so if you come down a bit late, you are out of luck! The onsen is much smaller in person... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this nice and tiny hotel. It is clean and tiny but sufficient to facilitate the client. Our room is small that we found difficult to accommodate our luggage. Also, there seems almost no space for us to move around. The buffet breakfast with very limited choices is served in a small area next to... More
