During our vacation in Japan we wanted to try ryokan type of accommodation. We chose this one in Kanazawa although the price was basically two times higher than in luxury 5 star hotel in Osaka and Tokyo. We weren't sure about staying in Kanazawa due to an already packed schedule but were so glad we did, even if it was for just one day. Stayed here for 2 night during our time in Kanzawa. We arrived early and dropped our bags off (Small communication issue but we were early). When we returned at the 4 o'clock they had an English speaking host. They got us checked in and determined times for dinner and breakfast. This is a TRUE ryokan. No western elements here at...
