Our family had two rooms at the ryokan and it was the most delightful stay. The rooms were clean and quaint, futons comfortable, and the outdoor onsen was hot and had the most beautiful view. We dined at the ryokan for dinner and breakfast and the amazing food became one of the highlights of our whole trip. All staff were...

My family of 4 stayed at Yokikan during our stay to Ito, and all of us unanimously agreed that it was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. Customer service was terrific from start to finish, even while we were booking the room. I emailed Yokikan enquiring about their rooms as the descriptions on the website were...

I found this hotel because I was looking for something off the beaten path with an onsen as well as in-room kaiseki. Due to our itinerary I found Ito to be the easiest place to get to on our trip from Kyoto to Fukushima and on to Hokkaido. Upon arrival to the train station we took a short cab to...

My wife and I booked a stay here in October 2016. Having never been to Japan before, we wanted to experience some of the culture and decided to look for a Ryokan to stay at. We were planning on traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto and were hoping to make a stop somewhere in between. While Ito isn't on a direct...

My family and I (family of 4 adults) stayed in this awesome ryokan for 3 nights. We had a fantastic time and our stay here could not be better. We picked up a car from Haneda airport on a Sunday morning, and our 2-hour drive to Ito was smooth. Hotel is not too difficult to find and there is free...

My husband and I stayed one night in this amazing traditional Japanese hotel which is operated by the 5th generation of the family. The hotel staff are very welcoming and some of them can speak very good English. The osen of this hotel has an amazing view of the town and the facility is very convenient. We had a great...

The food is impressive and healthy. The neighbourhood is quite and clean. The owners and employees are kind and cordial. Everything is gratifying, except that the location is slightly different from the information on google map. I like my room Hagi which is not very close to other rooms and can easily access to Onsen. I believe Yokikan would be...

Stayed one night in this magnificent traditional Japanese hotel. The room is spacious with a lot of Japanese traditional touch. The food was great and there is a outdoor onsen with breath taking view. The general manager Mr. Inaba was very helpful and can communicate very well in English. He offered a lot of travel tips and things to do...

My girlfriend and I stayed here one night in early December after a few days in the Nikko Grand in Tokyo and really enjoyed the experience and contrast to the bright lights and big city.
