The rooms are large and comfortable. Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke and we were immediately moved to another room. People who smoke in non-smoking hotels should...

This hotel is very comfortable. The rooms are incredibly spacious and full of character. Our bathroom is large and nicely-appointed. It is located on the edge of the historic Bokan district. A late afternoon/ evening walk was beautiful. The old buildings are well preserved.

Service outstanding as usual in Japan. My only concern was the buffet breakfast, which was good, but didn't fare on a par with the quality of...

Nice hotel, excellent location near the historical area where most museums and restaurants are located. Very good breakfast including traditional Japanese and Chinese as well as western favorites. Their restaurant is also quite good and I had a nice dinner. Very comfortable room, except for the temperature that is kept very warm. Excellent bathroom. Pleasant staff fighting against their poor...
