This is a modern hotel with an onsen at the rooftop overlooking the bay and Mt Hakodate. The breakfast had a good spread and there were sparkling wines. The quality of the food can be improved but that was on a very strict expectation. They gave us a voucher which we used on a room spray which smells great. We had the massage but the quality was just alright. The room was fairly large and had a good view.

Located between Hakodate train station and the Kanemori warehouse, both attractions are within walking distance. It is a modern style hotel with public bath on the top floor. Parking lot of the hotel is jest located next to the hotel, then you need to validate the ticket before you go out.

Check in was smooth though some staff members are not well versed in English. We stayed in a deluxe twin room, however the room size is modest. The room does have a good size TV, kettle, safe, tote bag for bringing the stuff to the public bath, and a comfortable couch. While the room is on the dark side, if you are here to sleep it is ok. Sleep quality is good but the air conditioning wind is a bit strong even it is turned down. Additional pillows are available if you go to the 2/F counter to collect them.

The public bath on the top is one of the best city hotel I have ever visited. There is also a small kiosk selling drinks and food items, and a lough area overlooking the city view. The open bath has a panoramic view of the city. It is quite enjoyable during good weather.

Buffet breakfast is served on the 2/F restaurant. It is one of the most extravagant breakfast I have ever expreienced in Japan. Lots and lots of fresh and tasty food available. Rice is cooked in individual pots. Sashimi fresh shrimp, salmon roe, and tuna are available to make a seafood don. Everything is of very good quality.

This very modern hotel is located very close to Hakodate station and overlooking the harbour. Our room was a good size and tastefully decorated and furnished and the beds were particularly comfortable. The highlight of the hotel for me was the baths, which were fantastic, particularly the open air outdoor bath with the chill wind whistling past and views over the town. The other highlight was the breakfast buffet, which offered all types of Japanese and western alternatives, and was one of the most comprehensive buffets I have seen during my travels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very reasonably priced hotel staffed by very pleasant and helpful people.

A well-located hotel. Comfortable, very modern rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast service is very good if prone to be crowded with waiting times - but worth the delay. The (potential) downside is that the hotel has no restaurant thus dinner is not an option - frustrating given what they offer at breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with roofless hot spring at top floor. I stayed 4 nights here and enjoyed the hot spring very much. Able to enjoy the beautiful nightview of Hakodate and have jazz music playing. Extremely wonderful when is snowing. Must try their breakfast buffet, too. Variety of choices and the lounge is enormous.

Opened in 2019, this hotel has all the modern conveniences. We stayed in a suite with a private hot spring on the suite floor, which is tastefully decorated in cedarwood with many accent lighting, not to mention power plugs placed in convenient locations. As part of the benefits of staying on the suite floor, beer and non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge are complimentary, but the best perk is the priority line at breakfast, which can be as long as 30 minutes wait otherwise. And the breakfast did not disappoint. There's unlimited sashimi such as tuna, salmon, and salmon roe, plus made-to-order stations for omelettes and pancakes. It has chinese food, ramen, salad, japanese breakfast, western breakfast, etc.

The hot spring baths on the top floor is just awesome. There is a hot spring open-air pool on the roof, with lounge-chair like seats in the water, overlooking Mt. Hakodate. Or you can choose to go to the enclosed one on the top floor, which also has saunas and mineral baths. There is a mini-bar outside the onsen on the top floor that serves beer and some light food.

As with most hotels in Hokkaido, the staff struggles a bit with English, but they tried hard and the service is impeccable. Our luggage was unloaded from the car when we arrived and they were already in the room by the time we finished the check-in. Usually some hand gestures are enough to help with communication, and google translate also works well. We wish we could've stayed longer.

Currently staying here. Superb staff, facilities and location. Superior double on 8th floor. Very comfortable, new, super clean and god amenities. Breakfast is an over the top Sunday type brunch. Everything from sausages to Champaign to sashimi. The spa is large and takes up the two top floors of the property. The location isi very good. Walking distance to all major attractions. If you book a premium floor you will get an added benefit at breakfast. Individual cooked rice and sushi box. I can pretty critical of small things - in that vein = I wish they had towels in the spa rather than using those from my room and a couple of more pods for the Nespresso. . But that being said, just ask for as many as you want when you check in . You will not be disappointed with this property. Oh almost forgot, its just a couple of minutes walk from the JR station.

We stayed at Century Marina for our first night in Hokkaido and originally chose it for its proximity to most of the sites we wanted to see in Hakodate. It's just a few minute walk from the train station with plenty of sidewalks so pulling our suitcases was no issue. The hotel also has a large parking lot if you choose to drive. It's also just a few minute walk from the warehouse district and the older area up the hill where a lot of historical embassies and churches are.

The hotel's breakfast buffet is an experience itself with an extensive spread of both Japanese and Western food options. You will reserve a time slot when checking in, but even then you should expect a 10-20 minute wait in the morning to get your table, so its best to go up before your reserved time.

This hotel also has one of the best rooftop onsen I've seen, with wonderful views of the whole marina and hill. When booking I didn't realize there was a hot springs so this was a nice surprise.

Our room was right next to the elevator but very quiet and clean. This is a newer hotel too so everything felt very fresh and well-maintained. We checked in using Japanese, but the hotel has check-in info packets and signs in English so this is a good option for non-Japanese speaking guests as well.
