Excellent breakfast buffet that caters to both Japanese and those who prefer an American or European breakfast. Easy walking distance to Naritasan Shinsho-ji and the Narita Calligraphy Museum, as well as the main shopping street in the city. Free shuttle to and from the airport.

After my immense fatigue made me bail on my plans for a crazy night in Tokyo, I decided to look into staying in a nearby hotel until my flight the next morning. Upon arrival in Narita Airport, I inquired about room rates at the Welcome Inn Reservation Center and was expecting something in the 10,000+ yen range. I was quite shocked when they offered me a room at Narita Kikusui Hotel for 3,300 yen, or about $40USD. The hotel even offered a free shuttle bus and breakfast the next morning.
The bus picked us up from the airport and in 20 minutes, we pulled into the parking lot. I must say, the place looked nice from the outside. The room was cozy and basic but immaculately clean, and included a twin (single) bed, TV (with about 12 non-English channels), hot tea, shower amenities, and a bathtub.
Breakfast the next morning was a buffet of about 10 items of Western and Japanese fare. An announcement a few minutes before the scheduled departure of the shuttle bus let me know that I needed to wrap up my breakfast, and off to the airport I went.
The hotel is conveniently located to Narita Stations (A JR and another one that I forget the name of) and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The front desk was helpful to point out recommendations. There is free wi-fi in the lobby. There are two restaurants in the hotel but we decided to explore the area.

I was again to fly to Narita night before my flight back to U.S. They provide free shuttle service to hotel (about 20 min ride). This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. However, this time, the staffs on duty were not as friendly as last time. Since I was all by myself, the room I got had just one pillow and very small bed. To Japan standard, I guess it is acceptable. I went out to dinner across the street. I had pork chop rice. It was very good. The next day morning, I had breakfast in the hotel which was included in the stay. The breakfast has lots to offer (Japanese or Western style). Much better than continental breakfast in U.S. Then I walked to the Naritasan temple. It is very close to the hotel. I guess it is still in New Year holiday. There were lots of car waiting to get in. There were lots of shops around the temple. This is definitely something you can do if you have time. The hotel provided me same level of service as last time. I will stay here again.

Room was spacious, but a bit cramped with 6 beds, breakfast buffet was good, great for a one night stopover. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had an excellent shuttle service. Would stay here again

You can hear everything that Chinese transit guests are saying. They're very loud and prop doors open and talk and laugh as loudly as possible, making a relaxing stay impossible. Shower was awful with the head so poor that water sprayed everywhere with no real pressure for washing. Toilet was dirty and I wiped it down because it was that OBVIOUSLY dirty. Wifi is weak.

The only good point is the proximity to the airport and AEON MALL.

I will list few facts, based on our one night experience, and you can decide yourself :)
The hotel we could call - "student dormitory". Its not a hotel. The corridor and a room is difficult to describe. Between entrence door and floor was 3-4 cm ( its like you are sleeping in the corridor ). The room was like a camping cabin - everything was plastic, with empty walls; awful toalett ( like the plastic temporary toalett you get outside during concerts).
It was very uncosy in the room, very "naked " and cheap. I toughed the painting on the wall and it felt down together with the nail it was fixed with ( walls are totally empty).

As well, we arrived to the hotel very late. Asked for 30-20 mins later check out which we received "no" to ( not flexiable at all).

All in all - find a better option in Narita. Im sure its possible with the same price or 1000 yen more!

I chose this hotel to stay the last 24-hours at Tokyo as i will be leaving early next morning. Again, after comparing the price, facilities of hotel and area nearby. This hotel done very good job to meet my needs.

After 3-days of continuous shopping, this hotel can provide a big single room to pack my luggage, a big hot bath tub and a super comfortable mattress to rest. Even though the hotel is a bit far ( 15 mins of driving) compare to other hotels in the same area but the hotel do provide Free shuttle bus which is another value-added service( starting from 5 a.m. in the morning ) for solo travelers.

I stayed here overnight before I take flight next day afternoon. The hotel is about 15 minutes bus ride. The hotel shuttle bus only runs every hour. You will have to time yourself right. The hotel staffs are very nice. Of course they had some trouble understand English. But they can communicate to the extend answering my questions. The hotel is not too far away from 7-11 convenient store where you can buy some snacks and fast food. There are some restaurants around too. I had a dinner right across the street from the hotel around 12AM in a restaurant. The price is reasonable considering in Japan. I have single room. It is very small but it works for just one night. Also remember to ask for non-smoking room. My room is in the second floor and it is a smoking room. The room has refrigerator, electric hot water pot, TV and hair dryer. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It has some other thing such as comb, tooth brush etc. I asked to change to a different room but they told me that there was no more room available. My reservation included breakfast in hotel. They gave me a breakfast coupon at time I checked in. I woke up next morning to have the breakfast. It has quite a bit of selections such as fish, egg dumplings, toast, soup, juice, coffee and much more. It is much better than any continental breakfast in any hotel I stayed in U.S. I took shuttle bus around 8:30AM to Narita Airport. Overall, I have a nice stay considering the price I paid. By the way, if you have a half day before your flight, you can consider to take JR Narita Express from the airport the downtown Tokyo. It is an express train from the airport to downtown without any stop. It will take you about an hour each way. The ticket price is about $54 USD round trip. With your passport, you can buy Suica card. With the same price, you also get some money in the card which you can use to purchase stuffs in limited store.

We needed to rest after our long flight to Narita and picked this place. Booked online for a better rate. When we got to Narita, we called the free number from a pay phone and arranged a free pick up shuttle and it was easier to find the shuttle pickup point at the airport. They told us we had just missed one shuttle so had to wait for an hour until the next, but there are shops in the airport where we could kill time. The hotel is kind of dated, looks rather 70s, but the price was right. The back rooms face a huge wall so there is not much view, but we only needed to sleep. Also, the room is tiny! Smaller than the other ones we eventually got to in Japan, but whatever. We also walked about 10-15 minutes up the road to the temple and there were a few restaurants across the street. The breakfast was really yummy if you like Japanese food. Staff was helpful in showing us maps but didn't speak too much English but we managed to communicate.

Great stay with this hotel. It is very near the Senshoji Temple. Very qiuet and peaceful. I love staying here, and what is the best is their free transport from and to Narita Airport. The staff is very accomodating. The hotel has free wifi even in 6th floor. I love the area of the hotel also because it is near the Eon town and supermarket. There is also a restaurant across the hotel and it offers a cheap meal. 15 minutes away from the station. I will surely book again here when I come back to Narita.

They have a shuttle (hotel) that takes you directly to the airport . This makes it very convenient. You may also walk to the Narita station and take the train.

Answer from Rohini C

The bus schedule of Hedistar is usually after three. If you read the timings on the Narita airport bus stand. But they do oblige for guests who stay there for their early departure and if such departure matches your arrival voila you would be lucky. (in the mornings esp early morning)
