My wife and I stayed here one night. It fit our needs perfectly as it was within easy walking distance of the two train stations for easy and inexpensive access to the airport, was located close to a major grocery store in the AEON Mall, was very clean, and the room had a refrigerator and kettle along with mugs. We did not use the hotel’s airport shuttle as the trains are more frequent and are not expensive.

We stayed here on the recommendation of our daughter who travels to Japan for scientific conferences. Since they do not have shuttles from the airport to the hotel yet, we had to get a taxi. We had to wait for a local taxi a long time as most taxis at Narita want longer fares. Once we got here, we had mistakenly booked a small room with a double bed that we simply too small (think European sized rooms a la IBIS). We instantly went to the reception and got a much larger room on the 9th floor for $20/day more. The room on the 9th floor was spacious with couch, desk, foyer and a very comfortable king size bed. The amenities in the bathroom are great. As this was our first time in Japan we struggled the first morning to figure out the coffee system as they use single cup drip coffee sachets. None the less the coffee was tasty. If you are here for more than one night, get some real milk across the street. They use an eco-system style of room cleaning replacing towels each day only. The location is great for visiting Narita old town and shrines and is a 10 min walk to the train station. The price is very low compared to the US and the reception was very friendly.

This is my second stay at this hotel and I would happily stay again. It's just a few minutes walk from Keisei Narita station (basically just diagonally across the road) and the front desk staff are professional and very helpful. I was traveling alone, so booked a single room which was still large enough that I didn't feel cramped. There is free, fast wifi. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a basic selection of Japanese and western foods and there is also a restaurant / bar on-site, although I didn't go there. At the time of this review, there are covid protocols in place, including hand sanitizing stations and the requirement to wear disposable gloves when serving yourself at the buffet. I guess that this will change sometime in the future. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a pleasant, convenient stay at a very reasonable price.

We stayed one night here before boarding a flight home from Narita. Note that due to COVID, they have cut down their service and would only provide shuttle service to the airport, and not from there so check their website before you book.
But even without the shuttle, the hotel is located at a walking distance from Keisei Narita East station so if you travel light, staying here is still a good option.

They have a restaurant on site, otherwise there are plenty of restaurants across the street and Aeon Town is just a 10-min walk away. If you have more time however, grilled eel is a famous local specialty here and it is worth trying it in the quaint restaurant Kawatoyo, around 15-miin walk away. Note that they open until late in the afternoon but is closed in the evening.

Second time I stayed in a Richmond Hotel. Good brand, both times I had clean and comfortable room. This one offers a better value than other bigger name chains near the airport.

There are many hotels by NRT airport, but the hotels in the actual town of Narita have options outside the hotel property. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of this hotel. Plus, it’s a short 5 minute walk to the train station if you’re adventurous enough to take a trip to Tokyo.

The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. The rooms are a bit small for Western standards, but it’s a good size for an overnight stay. The bed has two different pillows, which I realized in the middle of the night - one is soft cotton and the other is buckwheat. The shower was nice and had good pressure. There wasn’t an iron in the room, but it had a pants pressing device mounted on the wall. Also be mindful that the doors are pretty thin so you can be heard in the hallways.

Breakfast was nice. It was small but had a good selection of food.

Chose this hotel for an overnight stay as we had an early morning flight out of Narita. We booked a room for our family of five for JPY23k.

We took a cab from Central Tokyo to the hotel so are unable to comment on the public transport to this hotel. However when we ventured out for dinner, we found the train station to be very close uphill to the hotel (5 mins walk). The hotel is generally very clean and has a strict check in policy at 2pm. There is a in house eatery and cash machines with no parking facilities. The room was small but could take 5 of us easily (3 beds). It comes with basic amenities and a small window for a road view.

There are several hotels around the area but we chose this for its price and the availability of morning shuttle to Narita airport. The shuttle starts from 6.40am with ~15 mins to T2 and ~20 mins to T1 (actual). This shuttle comes around every hour with the last ride out at 10.40am. Please note that the reservation is on a first-come, first-served basis and my advice is to get the tickets as soon as you check in (total capacity at 22 and it fills up very fast).

We went uphill around the train station to find our dinner but the restaurants are generally packed (think reservations) or only admit adults. We managed to find a nice yakitori place with comfortable seating. There are other fast food options eg Macdonalds, Family Mart if you need a quick eat. Breakfast at the hotel has limited options - you can get a simple toast or granola with milk, and some fruit juices.

If you need something to fill for the afternoon, you can explore the nearby Aeon Mall (walking distance) or the Shisui Premium Outlet (15 mins cab): the latter can easily fill your afternoon,

My son came to visit Japan and I booked him at Richmond Hotel Narita about 20 mins to the Narita Airport. The hotel has a delicious buffet breakfast, comfy beds and always immaculately clean. My son enjoyed Japan so much that he forget his flight to Philippines to visit his dad. I called the receptionist from Houston, TX and they keep on calling my son’s room, went to his room and keep me updated. We’ll my son went somewhere else the night before and arrived at 8am for flight at 9 am. I ended up buying another airfare for another carrier. Wonderful people, food and accommodation. Please come and visit this hotel, it has also a train station next to it and a mall. Highly recommended to all travelers.

This is our 2nd time at this hotel. The last time was more than 10 years ago during the year Tokyo experience the heaviest snow storm in 40 years.

We were caught in the snow storm and needed a place to stay as we had missed our flight home.

The hotel is still very well maintained after all these years. Checkin was a breeze and efficient. The hotel location makes it easy access to the train station and restaurants. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Peaceful sleep. Rooms are of typical Japanese size with small toilets. For those who need bigger toilet/shower space, you be challenge as most local hotels use the typical modular structure.

Highly recommended for the price we paid was of great value.

Hotel is good with a nice hearty breakfast spread. Hotels just 5mins away from Keisei-Narita station. There’s Lift and escalator from the station so it makes lugging the heavy luggage very convenient. Another 5-10mins away is the Yakao marketplace which is a big supermarket. The Main Street in Narita Village leading to the Shrine is a quaint street lined with restaurants and shopping. Very nice but feel like a tourist street.

Stayed two nights before an early morning flight back home.
Took the direct train from Tokyo Skytree Oshiage to Keisei Narita. Hotel location is good, 10 mins from train/bus station, Naritasan Omotesando and supermarket in Aeon Town. Bus ride to Aeon Mall is 10 mins from bus station. A few convenience stores and plenty of restaurants nearby.
The room feels a bit cramp, though we have booked for the bigger twin room. Still can open two big size luggages at the same time for packing. Bed is comfortable for a good night sleep.
The early morning shuttle bus to the airport is good especially in a cold day and with luggages.
A good value hotel. Will stay again if coming to Narita.

There are bakeries, coffee shops and a Mc Donald’s mostly in the square around the JR station which you must pass on the way to the temple.

The room with a queen size bed and small lounge was a good size, but it will be a tight fit for 3 adults + child. Go for two rooms. It is a great hotel, fabulous location, breakfast is basic.

When you check in the hotel, the front desk will ask you if you need the free bus shuttle. The timing is 6.40, 7.40, 8.40am etc....Be sure to make a reservation during check in. The bus is tiny! If you do not have many luggage, you can take the train to airport which is 1 stop away.
