Stayed here for 2 night stays upon arrival and departure from Japan. Excellent staff who were efficient upon check in and checkout and were also able to lend me Japanese adapter to use, although the first room 835 had USB point the second stay room didn’t have one. Nice comfy traditional robe made you feel you had arrived in Japan. Beds comfortable, I scored lucky with larger rooms both visits with sofa in room. Excellent breakfast buffet if you have time to enjoy. Shuttle services ran on time to/from airport, local shopping mall and railway station (handy for visit to nearby temple and garden attractions with traditional shopping street only a few minutes from the Narita Station) I used the complimentary shuttle several times to go back to the airport to go on a tour offered by Narita Airport Stay and Transit Program and to meet family arriving at airport. Smoking room either outside designated area or inside downstairs in the same level as their in house Chinese restaurant. Handy convenience shop inside hotel for food and snacks as well as vending machine room. The sky view restaurant on 11th floor has good plane spotting opportunities and nice food. Onsen was nice and you get a return ticket for free entry from 7-9 the next day? Get them to interpret the writing on it so you understand the voucher. Guests only pay 700 yen but it may be only certain times to use. Only complaint I’d have is that your room does not have coffee cups, only small traditional drinking bowls, maybe use a paper cup from outside the breakfast buffet where there is a coffee station in the mornings? Was able to order from Chinese restaurant downstairs and pick up to have in room with chargeback to your room. Happy to hold luggage if you wanted to go exploring Narita during the day using their shuttle service before an evening flight out of Japan. Cost of booking additional night through Expedia was better deal than going direct which is what the hotel desk suggested when I wanted to extend my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for travellers. It was quiet and convenient.

The guest room is kind of run down. When booking I have requested a new refurbished room but was not given. The hotel provide shuttle bus to/from Narita airport. The hotel's Japanese restaurant served Kaiseki dinner which is great, guest will get 10% disc by showing the room's card, we've enjoyed the dinner here. The convenience store at the hotel is great too, we bought plum wine, ice cream & Hello Kitty stuff there. In conclusion, its ok for an overnight stay in terms of the price & convenience.

After a long flight from California I did not want to deal with buses getting into Yokohama OR Tokyo being dead on my feet so we stayed here and it was the best ideal of my whole trip. They had a shuttle right to hotel only 10 minutes away they took care of our luggage and we had no problem as tourist who speak only English dealing with hotel staff. They were super nice. The room was very clean but I remember it being warm and stuffy with no place to open a window. i would stay here again and if you had a flight you could take the shuttle back to airport which saves alot of money. I did see airline staff checking in as we were leaving if that means anything.

For the price (35$ a night) I wasn't surprised at the quality, but if you're someone that has a sensitive nose or allergies to dust, this isn't the place for you. The halls and rooms smell of cigarette smoke, despite it being NON SMOKING. The rooms aren't well maintained, having dust, blood (refer to picture), and other markings.

But, the hotel is very close to the airport and parking was inexpensive, coming in at just 300¥ for an overnight stay.

This hotel has poor service. The wifi connection extremely sucks! That is a basic thing for a hotel, at least. Even if you have a poor room interior with a bad smell, at least please provide a good wifi connection. I booked this hotel for my quarantine session. It is a terrible experience for me for this one-week quarantine in this hotel.!

Art Hotel is a big hotel close to the airport. I booked via booking but dispite of Booking stating that breakfast should be included, I learned during the check-in, that breakfast was not included and there is a massive upcharge of over 2000 Yen for the breakfast. So I decided not to have breakfast there. Rooms are small and quite worn. Not exactly hygenically clean (as usual in all other places I stayed in Japan) with some not so nice smell from the bathroom. However, the bed was comfy. A very nice Onsen with 4 different bath pools (in the ladies section) can be used for 700 Yen. It was really nicely done, however unfortunately this was not a quite relaxing area (as other Onsens). Big group of woman was talking loud and laughing all the time, no interaction from the staff unfortunately.
On the good side, it is very conviniently located close to the Airport and the shuttle service was working flawless and perfectly on time.

This Hotel was very helpful but English was not always the best. I was staying here after being stuck in Narita airport for one week due to transfer issues to China connection flight. The ANA crown plaza was sold out on 4 of my nights so this was my second choice mainly because it shares a shuttle bus with the ANA Crown Plaza. Rooms comfortable but small Japanese style baths( sort of plastic inserts) but ok. Western toilet. If you are use to western hotels you might look for other choice. Buffet in restaurant was so-so both for breakfast and dinner. Not really impressed. But the menu items were well prepared and delicious. Mostly Japanese style. Not big on western food there.
The one thing I will always appreciate the most was the concierge Aoyama , she was amazing and took special interest in my logistical problems regarding PCR testing required before I could fly to China. Got all the information that the airline either didn’t know or wasn’t aware of, and made extra effort to figure out the difficult hoops I needed to follow to be allowed to fly. ( my advise (DONT TRY) anyway Shout out to Aoyama for going well above her requirements and making my flight plans work out. She is a huge asset to this hotel.

This hotel has a large lobby, souvenir shop, restaurant, and shuttle into the airport. It is a bit outdated with some of the walls dented from suitcases brushing up against them. They do have a nice banquet hall. Our visit was before the pandemic so masks and hand sanitizer were not required.

Family and i stayed in room 401, a 40 sqm2 triple room in the main building.

Room was big, with sofa, humifier and green tea provided.

However the sides of the room was extremely dusty.

Shuttle service to the airport was avail limited to 20 pax as the bus is co shared with ANA Hotel.

Taxi fare to NRT airport is about 2500Y and to the nearby premium outlet mall about 5000Y.

Osen was opened from 6 am to 11 pm, 700Y
Payment can be made during checkout. The open air onsen was a nice experience in the cold winter.

Convenient store is opened from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Stayed at Mystay NRT previously and will opt for Mystay NRT due to cleaner room, 24/7 Family Mart and non sharing airport shuttle bus.

We were travelling in Japan for two weeks and stayed at the Art Hotel the night we landed in Narita and the night before we flew home, so twice. The first time we were there we had booked the standard room with breakfast, the room was very dated, linen was clean but try not to look at anything else too closely, especially the bathroom. In saying that, we didn’t spend too much time in our room, straight after we checked in and left our luggage in our room we headed for dinner at Soh which was lovely and reasonably priced. We went for a wander around the hotel before getting changed for the onsen, which was absolutely amazing and a must do for anyone staying at this hotel, ¥700 for an entry which included access the next morning. The next morning we went for the onsen again before having the amazing breakfast, from memory the breakfast was roughly ¥1000 extra per person but it’s well worth it, so much to choose from and the quality of food is great.
On our way home we stayed at the Art hotel again before our flight home, this time we had paid a little bit more and stayed in a Comfort Room. The comfort room was a lot better than the standard room, not only is it bigger but looked like it had been recently renovated and better maintained. We had to request for late checkout and that was ¥2200 per hour.
The staffs are great, very helpful, they don’t all speak good English but will try to help you where possible. Google translate may come in handy.
Overall, if I ever needed to stay in Narita, I would not hesitate to stay at the Art Hotel again, but I would definitely be booking myself into a Comfort room instead of a standard room. I love the onsen, the buffet breakfast, the location, the shuttle and the staff.

The hotel provides a free shuttle from the NRT airport so you just need to get yourself to the airport from Asakusa, the cheapest way - train or bus, to catch the free shuttle buses. Or if you miss the last shuttle bus that leaves at 11:05pm you will just need to take a short cab ride. The shuttle runs every hour and starts at 7:35am, 8:10am, 8:45am, 9:25am, and then hourly from 10:40am and then becomes half hourly at 4:10pm, 4:40pm , 5:10pm and 5:40pm and switches to 6:05pm, 6:35pm, 7:05pm, 7:35pm with the last bus at 11:05pm. This schedule was from my last trip back in January 2019 and is for the bus stop at the international terminal, so if you are coming from the other terminal, it could leave a few minutes earlier/later as I cannot recall if we were picked up first or the other terminal. Happy travels!

Yes. It is one of the closest hotels. Depending on your terminal it is a 5-10 minute ride. They also have a free hotel shuttle every 30 minutes.
