I really did enjoy my very short (just one night) stay. But, this place isn't going to be for everyone. What I loved: friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Check in was easy, the green tea ceremony was a nice touch, check out and ordering a taxi also a breeze. The breakfast presentation in my room was also quite formal...

We are a family of 8 (6 teenage/adult children from 14yrs to 23yrs). We all loved the exposure to some Japanese culture before heading off to the snow. I chose this hotel because it was so close to the airport and directly opposite some temples and shrines which I was surprised the ski loving family really enjoyed. The surrounding village...

I stayed at the Wakamatsu Honten Ryokan in September last year and having had an excellent experience, decided to stay again when I overnighted in Narita before flying the next day to Poland. There's a good reason why this property is highly rated. First the location is a pretty short train ride by either JR or by the private rail...

We stayed at this hotel because of the location and good reviews from Trip Advisor. However our experience was not that nice. We stayed one night at this hotel. Our flight leaves at 8pm, so we planed to checkout at 10am and will leave our luggages til 5pm and go straight at the airport. At check in...there were 2 staff...

This hotel is a nice treat for those who discover that Narita is an excellent travel destination besides the airport. The staff go out of their way to help you out and serve. The breakfast was Japanese style - delicious and elegant. There is an onsen in the hotel, although it is not actual hot spring water, the facilities give...

Great food and service. Excellent location, in front of the Naritisan, its gardens are out of this world. Good Japanese experience for family, rather expensive (340$ for 3 people with breakfast and dinner). If you have very high standards for cleanliness, this is not a place for you. The hotel would benefit from general refurbishment as the walls, bathroom fittings...

We stayed at this small Hotel for three nights at the end of a tour in Japan. To say it was completely different is something that arises from the actual experience of staying there. Firstly, it is situated across the road from the Japanese equivalent of the Vatican............a huge and extremely impressive temple complex, the number one site for Shinto...

I stayed in the hotel with my family only for one night, but it was a pleasant visit. We had 3 Japanese style rooms overlooking the temple. The rooms were spacious, tidy and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but we did have kaiseki style dinner which was great. The onsen wasn't spectacular but...

Ist always a challange to come from Tokyo to Narita Terminal 1 because of the distance. Even the public Transport System offers dozens of perfect Connections it costs time and the Metro is always crowded. My tip: Go 1 day before you fly home to Narita City already. The Train also stops at Narita City where you can get of...

We stayed in this hotel for a night in July 2016. We chose the location because of the closeness to the Narita airport. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The hotel is simple run down and a little bit dirty. There is specific smell not pleasant when you come to the lobby. The room on the second floor with a view...
