I felt lost being in Japan, and I stayed here. I had a quick layover, and decided on this place. Coming here I was delighted. The guy at the front desk helped me with my (silly) questions. I had no idea what I was doing, and he pointed me in the right direction and routing of the trains. The room...

Was looking for somewhere cheap and convenient to stay for a night before flying from Narita the next day. The hostel is on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator which makes it pretty hard to take luggage up and the owner took no interest in helping me with my bags. The rooms are fairly standard basic hostel...

The owner was so rude and strange. He shouldn't have a guest house. I was afraid to sleep there and McDonalds would have been a better option. He sang songs all night and seems very miserable. I wouldn't recommend it to a solo traveler or anyone else if you can avoid it.

I really don't know why people are so upset with this place. We arrived really early, the owner let us stay around, have a shower, then checked us in earlier. Found the place no problem with directions given on hostelworls, 10 min walk from keisei station. The place was clean, owner answered all our questions, wasn't grumpy towards anyone. Yes,...

This is not Japanese service! All foreigners should avoid staying here! Read English below! The manager and receptionist here is an old racist guy who won't give you the service you deserve you can get better service for less money. I would definitely take my business elsewhere if I were you. He also makes up rules out...

It was far from narita airport , and difficult to find hostel. If you reserve this guest house because of distance from airport, You'd better reserve other hostel in Tokyo. It was all worst experience of my Japan travel. Worst of those worst things, It is the MOST UNFRIENDLY OWNER!! After, 12 AM, You Must Stay in your Room. If...

If you are arriving at Narita airport, don't go straight to Tokyo, but stay in Narita for at least an afternoon. It's really worth it (temple, old houses, food, sakura). I am happy that the owner told me that before and that I listened to his advice. He was generally very nice. He appears a bit strict at first sight...

I'm kind of perplexed as to why this guesthouse has so many negative reviews. Initially, the biggest obstacle for me and my friend staying there was the language and currency barrier, along with remembering to be respectful about the custom of removing your shoes upon entry. But otherwise, this lodging was exactly what we needed. A healthy walk away from...

While I agree with what other people have stated in their reviews, one thing I have to add is that if you are going to cancel your reservation, don't do it with the owner. I made reservations to stay at this hotel for the first day, last day, and 2 days in the middle of my 2-week Japan trip. As...

I was at this unfriendly place for a miserable 5 minutes last night while my friend checked in. Although I stayed at the Center Hotel Narita a few blocks away, I was with my friend when he checked in to his room. While he checked in and took his luggage to his room, I waited in the lobby area. The...
