The Rembrandt is a very dated hotel, located a 10 minutes walk away from the train and the bus stations. Don't expect a fancy, modern and shiny place, more something which feels 80s without any modernization since then. But it's not all bad. The location is good with many restaurants in walking distance, the non-smoking room has been clean and... More

I've visited here almost every year for the last 20 years. Service remains OK, but the rooms are really tired now and badly in need of rejuvenation. If you have the time to travel from further afield - I recommend to travel. In case you really need to stay in Hon-Atsugi, it's an average towards poor business hotel, with decent... More

There aren't many hotel choices in Atsugi, but the Rembrandt is probably the best choice. Restaurants are good, breakfast is done well and the hotel is clean and neat. Visitors should note that in Japan the rooms tend to run quite small and the beds are even smaller. Not a big fan of the provided liquid soaps so I travel... More

The Hotel is not expensive and close to the train station and to many Japanese restaurants. The employees speak English. The rooms are basic but clean. I think that it is the best one in Atsugi. I recommend this hotel in case you need to stay in Atsugi or nearby.

The only negative thing here are the rooms are on the small side , but apparantley that is not unusual in Japan. The Brekfasts are very diverse the aircon is on in your room all day so you come back to the temperature you want. The Aircon really works well. (Note no aircon in corridors so can be a surprise... Hotel Rembrandt Atsugi is one of few business hotels available in Atsugi. I stayed with my wife and daughter for 3 nights in June 2016. Location 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The hotel is only a few minutes away from Hon Atsugi Station, the city center of Atsugi. The walkway from the station to the hotel is lined with numerous izakayas, restaurants, and cafes.... More

This was a multi-night stay. Very convenient for the train station (Tokyo) and also the airport bus service. Rooms are small but adequate. Breakfast is a large choice buffet catering for western tastes as well as local food. Staff speak English and helpful when required. Many restaurants a short walk away for dinner. There is a choice of restaurants in... More

The Rembrandt is a very good hotel for in some aspects speaking as an individual accustom to large rooms, good service, and amenities. The Rembrandt has been around for several years and is used for weddings, the lobby is finely decorated, I assume for the wedding parties. The room was comfortable, large enough, with closet, which not all hotels have... More

Just a 5 min walk from Atsugi station. Located right at the end of a shopping and dining street in downtown. Good spot to start an evening in town. Hotel itself is nice and clean. Rooms are very small, ceiling height in the bathroom is critical for tall europeans as it is in many Japanese hotels. WiFi is terribly slow.

Smoker-Room is what foreigners get per default. Staff speaks little to none English. Any deviation from the standart process is being rejected with a smile. No room service, early check in (any minute prior the 15pm standart) is surcharged with a full night at highest rate. They go a long way not making you feel welcome.
