All in all, it felt like a cheap copy of more glorious onsen ryokan. But if you want to save some money and still have the possibility to reserve a bath for your own group for private time, it's a good option. The dinner (you need to pre-order) and breakfast were great, and the dinner was all you can drink....

Always watched japan hour and saw the hosts staying at ryokans, soak in private onsens and eating sumptuous meals wishing u can do the same for lesser $? This is the place! It costs us about s$100+ per night for two persons with breakfast and dinner provided. We even topped up about 4500yen for a gourmet menu - which is...

About dinner, we can't eat the beef due to personal faith. So, the beef in the hot pot was wasted. Maybe, let the customer choose the type of meat can avoid the waste. Besides, everything is perfect! We have a happy time in here.

We came here not really what to expect. We arrived here by bus around 6pm and the whole area was pitch dark already! We advise you to come before the sun sets or else it's quite scary walking up in the dark! It's beautiful and serene in daylight though. When we found the ryokan, there were already many people eating...

The dinner and breakfast is pretty good, and the private onsen can easily be booked. It is bit remote, take a while to get there by bus. We checked in little pass 3pm, and the ropeway at Togendai station close by 4pm, so you don't have much can do once you checked in.

We stayed there for two nights. The dinner and the onsen are the best things the ryokan has. But at this moment I still don't know why they didn't make our room... This ryokan has a very high price for the services and place it has. I won't come back.

This small ryokan is old. While the room may be dated, the whole place is kept very tidy and clean. Free wifi works great. Reception and helper are very friendly and helpful. We were surprised that dinner is included as it's not mentioned when booking using booking.com. Dinner is very very good. The ryokan is well located. If you are...

This Japanese hotel is just a short 10 minute walk from the Togendai rope way station. Directions given on the hotel website are easy to follow and accurate, in fact you can take a shortcut through a couple of carparks. The hotel overlooks lake Ashi in the Hakone area and is also close to the lake cruises on the pirate...

My sisters and I chose to stay here because we would like to enjoy natural hot spring after a long day trip around Hakone. In end of Jan, the weather is really cold. We walked from Tokendai station to the hotel. It takes 10-15mins. On the way there, we were fulfilled by the nature, scene of Ashi lake, fresh air,...
