This hotel is very popular in this city. Location is excellent that just opposite to the station and private Carpark. Walking distance to the city centre with restaurants and convenient shops. Inside there is an onsen for male and female separately, which is quite big. Room is decent but be minded that it seems only offering Heating rather Cooling. Maybe... More

The hotel is right outside the old station that connects from Utsunomiya station. There is the Tobu station a short distance that goes direct to Tokyo but this is not valid on the JR pass. The town shuts down after 7pm so let them know of later arrival so somebody is at reception. The room and bed were comfortable but... More

Very ordinary and bland 3 star hotel in excellent location opposite the JR train station. However, by Japanese standards the room was quite spacious. Comfortable bed but hard pillows. Decent shower pressure (over bath shower with curtain). On site onsen. Felt it was expensive though having stayed in a modern 4 star hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo for same price, albeit... More

This hotel has a super location just opposite the JR station but it is in need of an upgrade and expensive for the standard of facilities provided. Having said that, my room was clean and had all basic facilities. The staff were friendly and efficient.

We stayed here for a night in October 2016 after driving up romantic highway to the lake and waterfalls. Parking is free and just to the side of the hotel. Train station was directly opposite. We stayed on level 3. The room was very clean, bright and big. The double bed seemed like 2 singles pushed together, but it was... More

Let me start by saying this is one of the best budget hotels in Nikko. Most hotels are more expensive for not much better. This hotel is far away from the best parts of Nikko, but it is close to the rail stations, and the (cheap) busses which run up to the scenic parts leave from the Toei station nearby.... More

True to it's name, Nikko station is right across the street of the JR train station, which is really convenient as a base for exploring the town. Rooms are big (especially in Japanese standards), with great comfortable beds and a seating area. Breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best we had in Japan, with a big variety of delicious western... I booked a triple room thru agoda in Sep for 1 night in nov at the rate of SGD 564 incl breakfast and dinner. I guess it is my mistake to not print out the coupon immediately to check the details. I only realised after 1 mth that they only incl breakfast in the coupon. Called agoda immediately to try... More

The hotel was very quaint, and I had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. I had dinner in its restaurant, and it was delicious, especially for Western food if you want a change. The wait staff there gave me free dessert as well. It's located right by the JR train station so it's great if you're just staying... More

I stayed here for one night on Sept. 9. It was a last minute reservation, because I had to quickly change travel plans due to heavy rain. I chose this hotel because it's across from JR Nikko Station. Indeed the location was very convenient. Unfair billing: I feel I was billed unfairly for two people. Since I didn't know that... More
