First, getting there requires transferring to a local train at one point and getting off at the _Iharanosato Station_ regardless of any other instructions. North end of the station ("back of the train" heading to the airport) you'll pass underneath the tracks walk a bit to the intersection. Across the street there's a good local restaurant and crowd (you're in...

We arrived late at night and were greeted by the friendly lady who runs the lodge with another elderly gentleman. The room was very small for 3 with one set of bunk beds and a roll up mattress over a desk. There were no changeable sheets we could see and my friends bed sheet was visibly dirty. 2 of us...

I booked the twin room with my husband and the room is totally okay. The room is small (well, it is cheap), but at least I still have a place to pray so it is not a problem. The linen and blanket look old, but clean. They have western style toilet and the bathroom on the 4th floor is clean....

After realising that the room we had booked the night before departing Osaka was at Osaka and not Kansai (oh no!), we ended up booking the cheapest accommodation we could find near to the Kansai airport - was this place. Saw that it was rated between 1.5 and 2 stars, depending on the site, so had a fair idea of...

Lodge Tyojirou was booked for us by a relative in Japan because he only looked at the cost online of an overnight stay per person (¥2,600 / a little over USD 22.00 per person per night OR ¥7,800 / approx. USD 67.00 per night for 3 persons in one room), and it was near where he lived. We arrived at...

As for not being the cheapest place to stay, I would say this place most certainly is not worth the money. The staff was very kind, but our room had not been cleaner properly since the last people left, as their hairs were still all over the beds. The toilets were very dirty and smelled horribly, and even the slippers...

I'm writing this review while spending a white night in kansai airport thanks to this awful place. Me and my husband wanted to pass the night close to the airport before returning home from a wonderful trip in Japan. We got to the place around 9PM but it wasnt the graveyard darkness nor stillness that got us. What made us...

Close to airport, arrived late and the guy was there to book us in and order a cab for the next morning! Tiny rooms but fine for an over night... heated beds! Slightly over priced for rooms but best deal when wanting to be close to airport!

Staff didn´t speak much English, but helped me as much as they can to get a cab to the airport the next day (I chose to stay in a hotel because the trains would not arrive on time to Kansai in the morning for me to check into my flight) but my biggest problem was that I spent the whole...

We quite liked this place as it is a little japanese building in the middle of nowhere (or so it seemed at night!) and the owners were very sweet and polite but spoke basically no English (don't expect much help with onwards travel - but it isn't too tricky - it's on a main train line into the city). We...
