It's located in Tenjin area, 5 min from subway station and 10 min from Tenjin underground shopping street. However, if you drive, it is difficult to find a parking. You need to drive through a narrow road to backstreet. There is not any designated parking lot for the hotel. We had a problem using the hotel phone number on GPS,...

We have been to Fukuoka many times, but it's the first time staying at Hotel Unizo. Whilst location was great, service was below par and to us, we must qualify that it's service that means everything to us. Upon walking in to the lobby to check in, the lobby smelled of smoke. We hoped it would just be a temporary...

Quiet hotel located in a lively area where you can find shops and restaurants but you must find it (at the end of a corridor). Clean room, the nice design in front of a shinto shrine. Cold reception, staff making home service if necessary. Internet access through WIFI unvailable during one day and washing machine unusable. Excessive price of the...

Unizo's location couldn't be better. Right next to the train station, bus terminal and underground mall. Lots of great shopping, food and drink within walking distance. The lobby is connected to the smoking section of the Tully's coffee shop, so there is a second hand smoke issue there, but not in the rooms. Good for a weekend stay.

Great small hotel. Fantastically helpful staff who sorted transport and travel issues. Really great room with really comfy bed. Great central location in Tenjin, good transport links and access to great shops and food. Tullys do great coffee.

I booked this hotel only two weeks before arrival so was pleasantly surprised that I could still find a hotel at a convenient location and reasonably priced. Surrounded by malls (Daimaru, Mitsukoshu, Parco, Barneys, Abercrombie etc), convenience shops and plenty of food choices. All are walking distances from hotel. Had a double room for myself and it is more than...

I found the staff very professional. I'm not sure what problem Denisebb0429 had as all the rules were explained very clearly. Hotels can give guests some leeway, for example 30 min, but when that passes you will be charged. This was explained to me by staff. Simple to understand. Sometimes people like to take advantage of polite hotel staff. Anyway,...

The service of the hotel reception was horrendous, especially bad was the front desk lady Mariko and what was worse was that her Manager Maki would actually say she was right by saying that I was 2.5 minutes late upon checkout!!!

It is hard to see the hotel from street, coz the entrance is small compare to Tully's coffee shop who took up most of front area of this building. Room size is very much the same size as most of Japan city hotels, our room was clear with trendy style. Staffs were very helpful, we asked question about location of...

It is no surprise that the hotel rooms in Japan are tiny. But the Hotel Unizo makes functional use of ever inch. The room is well equipped with a bed, couch, desk and small closet. It would be hard for two people in this queen bed room - you would have to really like each other. But for a single...
