We stay on 24-27th Nov, 2016. The reception staffs were always with warm smiles and willing to help. The room is clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the harbor view suite provided amazing sunrise and sunset everyday. The Japanese style breakfast buffet is another surprise, really delicious with considerate service. Best place to stay at Kagoshima.

I have stayed at countless hotels throughout the world and Japan in particularly, and this hotel has the distinction of being the worst place I have ever stayed at. For what it's worth, the room I stayed in was not bad. The bed was comfortable, amenities on the budget end of the scale but acceptable and the view was okay.... More

I have stayed one night in this October. My room was semi-double bed type and faced the Kinko Bay and the volcano called Mt. Sakurajima. And the price was just 5,000yen (or about $50), which I think was reasonable enough. In Japan, there are lots of hotels specialized for business travelers, most rooms of which are really tiny. But this... More

Excellent location with a nice view on the vulcano, however visited in October and the bar is closed, the pool is closed, the minibar is empty so you end up buying a beer across the street at 7/11... Unfortunately seems to be an old air condition, if you keep the window open to listen to the sea, the wind blows... More

I stayed here for one night in March 2016. After getting off at the Kagoshima train station, I found one local bus to get to this hotel, which takes about half an hour and you'll need to walk there a little few hundred meters from the bus stop. When I walked through a large parking lot, It was dark then,... More

Nice hotel, view from the Balcony of Sakurajima is great but was shrouded in clouds whilst we were there. restaurant very expensive so be warned. there are two restaurants and one had a function on so we only had choice of japanese which was fine as that was what we would have chosen anyway. the option we went with was... This hotel is a little out of the way of Central Kagoshima sitting at the docks to the ferry for sakurajima island, home of a still active volcano. The best way to unwind with friendly staff. A soak in the hot spring pools was a simple matter of hiring bathers for $500 yen. If you get a room with a... More
