The hotel offers a rooftop hot spring which was an absolute treat for all after a long drive or walk during the days. Parking was easy right next to the hotel and they offer free ramen as late night snack. The rooms are compact with everything needed, clean and well maintained. Love the windows which can be opened when the heat is strong. Everyone in my group enjoyed the stay.

Husband and I were having a road trip in the southern part of Kyushu, and we have had one night stop over at Miyazaki town centre. This hotel is actually quite new and we were kind of impressed as we have stayed in other Dormy Inns across the country before and this is one of the best. The car park is simply by the hotel and is easy access. You just have to take the ticket and present to the hotel front office and the staff will advise the parking fees etc. The public bath is on the top floor of the hotel, both indoor and outdoor. Not too big not too small and not too crowded, a perfect spot to relax after a long day. If we would visit Miyazaki again, we shall probably stay in this same hotel again. One last thing btw, there’s some walking distance from hotel to Miyazaki Station. Not sure if it would be a perfect spot for traveler traveling by train. Please consider it yourself. ;)

A relatively new hotel. The toilet is more spacious compared to the usual business hotels in Japan. No tub but a good space for shower, I prefer this more actually. There’s also an onsen in the hotel which was a definite bonus. We didn’t try the breakfast though. Parking is about 1100yen, a little high but it’s a one time fee per night and it doesn’t limit how many times you come in and out. It’s in the city of Miyazaki, so it’s more business oriented than the ones along the beach like holiday inn. It’s about 20-30 minutes drive to Aoshima beach and other key attractions. So depends what you are looking for but if you have a car; don’t think it’ll be a problem.

Had a short 1 night stay. Room is very small but OK. Quite clean. There is onsen on the top floor and is good. There is free beer tasting too. Another good point with Dormy Inn is free laundry and coin dryer for a very small, decent charge.

Been to Japan so many times over the years, but this hotel beats them all. For Japan standards is definitely the best hotel ever stayed in. You will get a free draught beer every evening after 21.00 and a ramen also . Free laundry and great use of Onsen. Great location Can’t wait to be back

Our first stay at a Dormy Hotel and we were impressed. The decor was minimalist and sleek and the twin room we had had two double beds put together - perfect for our family. The breakfast was the highlight! Not much variety but I loved everything I picked from the buffet. We drove and the affiliated carpark is right next to the hotel so access was easy unlike for other hotels that don’t have a carpark.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dormy Inn and the Onsen (with free beer!) is 4 star hotel standard. The location is very good and there are plenty of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk - (including and Italian one). We appreciated the separate toilet in our non-smoking room too. Some language problems at reception = but goodwill on both sides resolved them. While good for tourists visiting the city, it is more of a good standard business hotel.

Location - Centre of the city. On the main road. Bus station is in front of the hotel. Price - reasonable. You can find the cheaper one around the downtown but this one is really new. Special - natural Onsen on 12th floor. (From 15:00 to 10:00, overnight) Breakfast - 1,500¥ for adult. Variety of food. Weak point - no shower room attached.

We only had one night at the hotel but were very impressed by the onsen and were very comfortable in our small, well appointed room. The staff was also excellent. We will definitely return to this and other Dormy Inns.
