Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a hidden gem in Miyazaki. We will looking for some comfort food on a rainy day. Our hotel recommended this place. The ambience was good and tastefully decorated. We order a char siew, a bok Choy, beancurd with prawns and XO fish fillets. The waitress is also very helpful. Trying her best to describe the dishes to us.

Located on the river over which our room had a view which was nice, though about a 15 minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. Free car parking in a multistory just behind. Check in quick enough but limited English spoken. A large hotel with two wings, east apparently has more recently renovated rooms, but we stayed in the west wing where we had a very large room that was reasonably well equipped and comfortable enough but rather dated. A nuisance during our stay was construction work being carried out at the front of the west wing which started at 7am and was quite noisy.

Great value for basic rooms starting from Yen7,000. Hotel has onsen facilities, 2 massage shops and 6 restaurants. Premier rooms are ocean facing. Tip : Level 1 massage shop just beside the Onsen is fantastic! The male therapist noticed that my movements were restricted and he did several chiropractic adjustments to my back and neck. He even helped tape up my back to relieve some pressure. Fantastic service. There is another massage shop at B1 which is more of a relaxing aroma massage but do book in advance.

It is a three star hotel, two wings East @ West, old and new, lobby is good , spacious than most of the hotels, choice of restaurants, new wing is with fresh looks while old wing looks a bit run down, rooms are of good size as per Japanese standards, bathrooms bit cramped, free wifi good speed, river view is excellent , most of the rooms have river view, breakfast is more Japanese served in a narrow small space, no subway near buy, however the distances in Miyazaki are manageable in otherwise expensive Japanese taxi. Miyazaki station ans town centre is 1.5 kilometers away. Staff is polite as everywhere in Japan. Nice walking track along the river, relaxing place overall.

I joined a tour to Kyushiu and this is the first hotel. This hotel got fantastic sea view and close to Green Island. The grand bath is not as big as I thought and the facilities are up to standard. The set dinner was very good and buffet breakfast was reasonable. However, there was no wifi or internet sevice inside rooms.

Location along river with good view. Convenient location in the city. Nice decorations in the lobby and guest rooms. Clean and tidy everywhere. Fine dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. Surprised to find onsen in this urban hotel.

This hotel is located alongside a river and offers excellent seaview. We had a short one night stay but found its service very good. The rooms are reasonably sized and well decorated. Breakfast buffet is good. We got a good package through the internet. The hotel has two wings and is quite crowded at the time of our stay. We was not successful in booking the famous restaurant Miyachiku even on a Monday evening. We were lucky in booking the other one branch which is about ten minutes drive away . We tried the special course for the gold champion A5 Miyazaki beef and were very satisfied. If you come to Miyazaki to try the famous better ask the hotel to book the restaurant well in advance.

We had a 1 night stay in this hotel. Pretty big hotel since they had a few wings and when we alighted from our tour bus, we had to move our luggages from one wing to another. The onsen was pretty good although I had a pretty faint memory of this hotel, and that I keep having it mixed up with another hotel because both had a good room views of some lake/sea. The only thing I could differentiate from the other hotel was that it has more than one wing and accommodation must be very well received in this place. The buffet style restaurant we had for breakfast the next morning was also pretty good as there was a lot of locals also having their breakfast there.
