Sora House is very well located, a short walk to monorail, Kokusai and ferry terminal + bus to aquarium. Sora has only basic amenities but it is clean and well run, and staff is friendly. Note: you must bring your own towel. It can get noisy especially in the morning with doors slamming etc.

Just exit the Miebashi station on the monorail and follow the path and stairs to the left. Keep going in that direction, past the yakitori restaurant and you'll see the Sora House sign and a flight of stairs. Check in and the common area are on the third floor. Shoes are to be left outside before entering any floor. The...

Stayed there for two nights. The only problem is there's is only stairs, no elevator. So if u have a big heavy luggage case, you will need to carry all the way up to 3rd floor to the reception and room may be at 4/5th floor. The lady staff was helpful and speaks English. We stayed at 4/F and there's...

Location - it was a short 3-min walk from Miebashi Monorail Station. There is convenient store and supermarket within walking distance. Ferry terminal is a short walk away too. Basically you can stroll to several sights (towards the Kokusai-dori), It is a peaceful area in the vicinity. Hostel - stayed in the female dorm and it was good for me...

I stayed here for five nights. The room itself was fine (although the bathroom and shower room needed more cleaning) and the hostel was close to the ferry port, but I can't believe how awful the hosts were. We asked for advice on attractions and they seemed to know very little. While I can speak some Japanese, I find it...

The price and the location were the best two things about this guesthouse. I paid around 1,500 yen per night. It's located literally right next to the Miebashi monorail station. It's only a 10 minute walk to Kokusai Street. Now, the actual dorm area is pretty barebones. I only stayed in a 7 person, all-male dorm room. There was pretty...

Sora House has a really great atmosphere that makes it easy to meet people. The lounge and kitchen area is especially homey. There were a lot of rules to follow, but I think having the rules made it a more pleasant place to stay. During the day they keep all of the windows and doors open so it is nice...

This hostel is very clean and in a good location but I've never experienced a hostel like it. It felt a lot like a school trip with lots of rules of conduct everywhere like not being allowed to stay on the rooftop area beyond a certain time. There were signs everywhere telling you how to to walk and when to wash...

A very cool hostel with lots of foreigners. The living room is always lively and full of people all over the world bustling with noise. They have a small kitchen where you can cook. However, you can not stay in the living room after check out. Also, showering times and hair drying times are limited, which can be inconvenient at...

The room was clean and basic with aircon which is a must in Naha. Bed was fine. Shower facilities were also good as was the laundry. The location is excellent for a huge range of delicious restaurants which are right around the corner. There is zero decoration in the rooms and an overall lack of atmosphere. This is not one...

“The 2nd floor is easier to get in to after the curfew as you don't have to pass through a gate, so if you're planning on staying out late in Naha (which you should be) then I think 2nd floor is best.”

“Showers are best on level 5. The capsule rooms back onto the common room, so might be noise later at night and early in the morning.”

“Sora House has a separate, female-only section on the 4th floor, which includes the bathroom. There are rooms on the same floor that allow men, but you will have to travel downstairs to use the bathroom/shower. Still, the 4th floor is quiet, as the 3rd floor has the lounge room and kitchen, which can get loud and rowdy when groups of young backpackers commandeer the floor.”

“front rooms are nice and airy but if you are a light sleeper, you might here traffic or people from the street though it is more of a side street”
