We booked a 4-bed room. It was spacious enough for our suitcases and still had a mini living area complete with TV and dining table. Since we were 4 girls, it was good that the toilet was separate from the shower; otherwise we'd be queuing for the bathroom every morning and night! The beds and bathroom were clean. The front...

The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. No cozy atmosphere or personal service as those you get when you stay in small places but this is a very big chain of hotels in Japan, very business oriented, so it's expected. As for cost-benefit I'd say it's slightly over priced. Yet, you know you'll get comfortable beds, a clean and spacious...

This was our second stay at the Miyako Hotel in Okinawa. Our first stay was in 2012 and we enjoyed staying here so we decided to book here again. My sister, Mother and I booked a triple room with the breakfast included. After traveling to Okinawa from the Chicago area we arrived at the hotel exhausted only to find out...

Miyako is very old hotel,, literally it is hardly seen as a hotel. if you just want to sleep and take a shower,, well it is maybe considerable,, but please be noted that no swimming pool, no convenience store, no small garden for walking, no gym ,, nothing there and around the hotel.... And, you must speak in Japanese otherwise...

I believe Miyako hotel is one of nice hotels in Japan. I expected this Okinawa Miyako would be the one like the others in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc. I guess we expected too much. When we arrived at this Okinawa Miyako hotel, we were so disappointed. I don't say that it was not good. Everything was very average. If you...

The room was clean and big enough for 3 people. Location is very convenient not only for Shuri Castle but also for taking high way to go up to center and north part of the island. Receptionists were all kind and service was sufficient. This hotel has big souvenier shop inside where you can buy souveniers and light night meal...

Biggest complaint is that we were put into a smoking room, didn't even realize hotels still have smoking rooms these days. It absolutely reeked of tobacco smell, even found a full ashtray of used cigarette butts in the bathroom that the cleaning staff failed to dispose of. We asked to move, but they said there weren't any other rooms available....

Our family joined a tour and stayed here for 2 nights. It is a small scaled hotel and quite remote from the city centre. Remember to buy enough foods or snack from convenient stores before going back to the hotel despite there is a self operating shop downstairs in the lobby. The hotel is quite old and give an impression...
