Stayed in Hotel Pearl Garden in the month of August 2016 for the Setouchi Triennale.

I arrived early before the checkin timing of 3pm, and deposited my luggage with the reception so that I could make my way to the festival.

The room is not the most modern and stylish room in the world. Sure it might look a little dated (I had expected this, from my previous stay in another hotel in takamatsu three years ago) however, the room has adequate features and amenities like a kettle, hairdryer, television and radio.

The size of the room was pretty decent, more than enough space for a solo traveller. The bathroom to my delight was very modern and sleek, it came with a tub as well as the usual Japanese automatic toilets.

One thing I would like to highlight is the attention to detail the hotel staff has in your stay. Every day, the hotel staff would refill my kettle, fill up a thermos with cold water, as well as provide complimentary sliced fruit it the...
