The room was small but fine. It was a little walk from the train station and the shops. A reasonable walk to Kochi castle. the hotel seemed to have quite a lot of business people staying. Breakfast was included in the price - European or Japanese. We had pastries, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee etc .

Stayed at the 7 days+ for 2 nights. The 7d+ has a boutique hotel feel on the ground floor. An open and chilled reception and breakfast area. The breakfast was of the continental variety; bread, pastries, yoghurt etc etc. The room was that of a standard business hotel. Location was very convenient. 10 minutes walk from the station and 5... It is a hip hotel with stylish lobby, bright and clean rooms. We felt refreshed as we walk into the lobby because of its design and aroma. Staff are helpful and can speak adequate English. Carpark is provided at a fee. Either Japanese style or continental breakfast is included in the very competitive room rates. Overall experience at this hotel... More

We chose 7 Days Hotel Plus as it was listed in some travel guides and mostly for its location. It is walking distance, less than 10 minutes from Obiyamachi shopping arcade (帯屋町) and Hirome Ichiba, their night market featuring countless food stalls and shared eating area. The hotel is also very close to their Sunday Farmer's market日曜市. We checked-in on... More

This hotel has a sister property nearby, which is 7 Days Hotel. Believe that one carries some nice art pieces. This one is pretty basic, but is not bad. Within walking distance to main shopping area and train station, maybe about 10-15 minutes slow leisurely walk. There is a lifestyle shop right opposite the hotel which opens late, and a... More

We chose this hotel mainly based upon the comments on tripadvisor and from bloggers. We were happy that we chose this hotel. The staff at the front desk were helpful. We arrived at the hotel at about 10pm and the staff at the front desk tried his best to communicate with us in English. He was very friendly and helped... More

Our double room at this hotel was very small, with one side of the bed against a wall, but it was well-equipped and well laid out, so that it was still very comfortable. The hotel is smart and modern and is centrally located within easy walking distance of the castle, the station and the Sunday Market. Parking is available for... More

Nicely located in Kochi, with the main local attractions within walking distance. Friendly desk folks but challenged when talking english, unfortunately but unsurprisingly. Very clean room, well designed and a small but very functional bathroom. Excellent free wifi and a decent selection of TV channels allow to kill off an hour or two before hitting the town. Definitely recommended!

In the absence of a Toyoko Inn in Kochi we chose this hotel instead. Similar (slightly higher) price to Toyoko, but with a very different, designer-style image. The rooms are small and not as well equipped or comfortable as the Toyoko, and a bit stuffy, so I am afraid that when T Inn eventually opens up in Kochi the 7... More

The building was modern and the staff were really friendly. We stayed in their largest room and it was spacious and the bathroom was really nice and big, worth the extra 2000 yen a night, if you are looking for the best deal in town this is it.
