We stayed here for the Akita Kanto Festival. Price was a little higher than usual as it was their busy peak period, but that cant be avoided. We didnt take the Shinkansen in as it was a lot faster by flight from Hokkaido so after touching down at the small airport, we boarded a bus to the city. It only... More

Guest Room: Small but clean WiFi: Available in-room Air-con: Works in cold months. A + for me! Parking: Annex car park access from lobby level with preferential parking rates Restaurants: Podium mall and annex station mall offer wide range of cuisine. Most convenient during adverse weather conditions. The Kawabata Dori dining and entertainment district is only about 20 minutes walking... More

Have always been staying in Toyoko Inn whenever I travel to Japan. Locations are mostly very convenient (near to train stations) and this Akita branch is no exception. It is located within the train station building itself, and is merely a 2 minute walk on the left when you exit the station. Amenities are nearby and location is very convenient.... More

Location was great which was important for our layover in Alita. There's a convenience store downstairs for food. Room was an ok size. My only issue was the breakfast really isn't tourist friendly - this is the same for all of the toyoko hotels

Do understand what Toyoko Inn is. It's a business hotel. The rooms aren't that big. It's not a luxury place. It's not a 5 star hotel. It's a place that's clean and convenient. If you're looking for the Ritz, you best move on cause you won't be happy here. So, this is why I choose Toyoko Inn when I travel.... More

Nice location, great price and great service. They even helped us to give usable spaces to pray. The price is very good, and as it is inside the station, it is very convenient for us to walk around Akita.

Again, it is a chain hotel with very good location. But there is no WIFI inside our room and front desk lady take it as certainty when we complain about it. We tried our best to tell them it is really annoying that we have to use wifi at lobby since they promise there are in room wifi. All the... More

Very convenient! The hotel is connected to the main JR station and the path is just one long corridor. I've been to Japan many times and usually stay at business hotels. In terms of experience, it's not out of the ordinary. I spent one night here. I couldn't hear the nearby trains, but I did hear people talking in the... More

Most Toyoko Inn's are known for being very close to transportation options and this one is no exception. If you exit from the Akita station on the East Exit, go all the way to the elevator (if you have luggage) and get to the Mezzanine floor (M). Keep going to the right and you will see the Toyoko inn front... More
