Had three nights here in a junior suite. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed and good sofa. The wifi worked well but you did have to log on at different parts of the hotel the pool was cool but good, enjoyed by many locals too! The breakfast was adequate choice and quantity. Nina and Aida on reception...

This is a wooden themed hotel; rooms are average size but cleaned. The hotel is located in between of airport and downtown, can be a good choice for stopovers. The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable and responsive and speaks English. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around it. Breakfast is very basic - free WiFi connection is available...

I had a stop over in Almaty for 1 evening due to my internal flight connection before heading back to the UK. The hotel was ok, nothing special. it took my taxi drive 1 hour to get from the airport to the hotel as non of them knew where it was. Its of a traditional Kazakhstan origin, which was fine....

I just needed a place to stay overnight on a layover, and this fit the bill. I had a friendly, English speaking receptionist help me when I checked in. I needed to make an emergency phone call and when my own phone did not work, she dialled the number for me. She also booked a taxi for me for the...

I spent four single nights on four occasions and always liked the place. It is far from the center, but our tour organizer selected it for its relative closeness to the airport. The rooms are pleasant, with somewhat varying shower qualities. The reason for deducting a star. Also, there is no elevator, so try to get a room on the...

This hotel is a distance of almost 20 minutes from Almaty city center as it is located on the outskirt of Almaty. So, would be some inconvenient getting to Almaty. By bus, it could take almost 1 hour plus to reach Almaty center if the traffic is heavy. However, despite this, the location is still good. This is because there...

I had the misfortune to have a motorcycle problem whilst staying at this hotel. The food is excellent, the staff go the extra mile to please you and the rooms are fabulous. They speak quite good English and the Resrvation Manager speaks it fluently. They really put themselves out with no thought of reward.
