We would like to say that this was one of the best holidays we have ever had. We booked through gamewatchers safaris end the whole trip was perfectly planned. You will meet the warmest people on earth. They are all very skilled in driving, finding animals etc. Even when go get a bit tired you can always go to the...

Porini Adventure camp in Selenkay was wonderful! It is billed as a rustic camp with dome tents and private bathroom facilities around the back of the tents. I was a bit hesitant but decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The cost was very reasonable, especially compared to other camps in conservancies. The food, staff,...

Gamewatchers (Julie Roggow) organized an incredible trip to Kenya and Zanzibar. We stayed at the Nairobi Tented Camp, the Selenkay and Ol Kinyei Adventure Camps, Il Keliani Camp (for a bit of luxury) and finished off with a stay in Zanzibar - at Stone Town Coffee House and the Breezes Beach Resort. Everything went seamlessly. A Gamewatchers representative awaited us...

Extraordinary!, Superb!, Beyond my dreams! The wildlife was beyond belief. The rustic camp had the very best of game drives and food service. It’s been over 40 years since I last slept in a sleeping bag, but I was comfortable and it was so great to hear lions roar almost every night. I appreciated the way the tent was protected...

Our tour guides were Amos and Daniel and THEY WERE FABULOUS! I would highly recommend this camp. I slept better at the Adventure camps then any other camps we stayed at. The food was fabulous but the best part was how amazing our guides were and the fact that my husband and I had the camp to ourselves. Amos and...

None of our group had done a safari before so we didn’t know what to expect – and the entire holiday was above all our expectations. Our guides (Daniel and Amos) were absolutely fantastic and their knowledge of the wildlife was second to none. Everything from the open air jeeps to the campsite and the food was ten out of...

This experience exceeded all expectations! Thank you Daniel and Peter, our expert guides and all the wonderful staff at the camp for making this the highlight of our trip. Beautiful conservancy and wildlife experienced in a very personal way thanks to the wonderful Masai people. Elephants, giraffe, gazelle, lionesses and cubs just to mention a few. A truely memorable experience...

I was here on safari in Sept 2015 and it was AMAZING!!! I did a lot of research and chose Gamewatchers/Porini Camps over all the other outfitters. The guides were great, the food was top notch (I'm a little bit of a foodie....), and the service impeccable. I loved the idea of staying in a tent because it seemed a...

If you like to get up close and personal with lions, elephants, zebras, cheetas, giraffes, etc., then this safari camp is right up your alley. The experience was eye opening and went beyond my expectations: From the great customer service and friendly nature of the Massai staff to the intense closeness to the lions, elephants and other animals. Our Gamewatchers...

Gamewatchers look after guests as though they are family. The adventure camps in Selenkay and Ol Kinyei conservancies offer a perfect way for a family to have a privately guided experience of Africa's wildlife from people who know the land and its animals. The conservancies are growing from strength to strength and it is great to support an enterprise that...

The Gamewatchers Adventure Camp, Selenkay, is sited in the Selenkay Wildife Conservancy in the Amboseli eco-system.
