There is not even a single drawback to write about Kibo. 1.Best location of any resort in Amboseli (closest to the park's main entrance) 2.Staffs are courteous & fantastic. 3.Food-Buffet to be specific,is just more than adequate and the restaurant staffs and managers do take care of your special needs if any. 4.Rooms are 10/10.Housekeeping and overall maintenance is great....

We were only there for one night and I wish it could have been longer. Beautiful building and grounds. Tents were very nice and shower was great. Both dinner and breakfast was good. Bar also did a wonderful job with our drink orders. The gift shop is cheaper than other shops I had been at.

Having spent some time on a tour of Tanzania we were dropped off at the small but busy border town of Namanga which on both the Kenya and Tanzania sides had undergone tremendous change {we were there last 6 years ago) with a new expanded tarmac roads on both sides and large modern customs offices. After checking out of the...

Luxury tented camp, close to the main gate to Amboseli National Park. The staff are very helpful, in every department. The room itself is as good as any place that we have stayed at whilst on our safari trips.

I absolutely loved Kibo Safari Camp! This is a true "African luxury-tent camp" experience. Charming, comfortable, authentic, relaxing, personal. I've traveled around the world and stayed everywhere from horrible hostels to luxury resorts ... and in all my travels ... the staff at Kibo is the BEST !!! I don't know the exact definition of 5 star service, but staff...

It’s a lovely tented camp, simple but tidy, and it gives one an opportunity get up close with nature while also assuring safety. I could hear a Lion's roar from a distance at night and echos of Hyena calls were all around my tent until early in the morning The tents are spacious, the food is nice, diverse and fresh...

I find it very difficult to comment on this lodge. Unfortunately our stay here was completely spoilt by the arrival of a huge contingent of teenage school children. I understand that in the low season lodges have to make money and welcoming huge groups is a good way to do it. Also the youngsters were very polite but with the...

We booked the hotel via a safari company called Seven by Far - they tailored a safari for our needs and dates and recommended the camps and lodges to choose. With Kibo Safari Camp they were spot on with the choice. Located just a few minutes away from the reserve entrance the location is excellent. The tents were nice and...
