Stayed for 3 days 2 night for a short family getaway. The staff at the hotel gave an excellent impression the moment we arrived in the lobby. Check-in process was fast and all our inquiry was handle with full professional and smile. From the security office to the front office staff to the porter to housekeeping was very friendly and ever ready to help. They greet and smile every time we get in and out of the hotel. Special mention to the asst manager from front office Ms. Norida who was very helpful in creating a special birthday surprise for my wife's birthday in the room. She helped birthday surprise moment I asked her helped but they did more than I even imagine. Even all the staff knew and wished my wife a birthday during the day. We had some issue but that was solved quickly by the staff member, they also ever ready to give us more information places to go and do around Ipoh. The room is generally clean and well sanitized. Very comfortable family stay with kids, however the breakfast is not worth the price we paid, the breakfast was pretty much full and limited choice and I felt the staff the F&B was not friendly or even welcoming as the hotel staff. No self-service but still felt uncomfortable to request more or specific. The hotel management should credit every single one who worked from 14th July - 16th July 2020 staff as every single one gave us sense comfort, safe, happy and my kids enjoyed the stay and blend well with all the staff. Well done..

We went for the Glamping twin package which is located inside the theme park near the flying fox area.
The camp was by the lakeside with nice view and relaxing environment. Only the temperature was really warm since it’s CNY season.

What’s really awesome is the customer service by the glamping crew there, specially commending Mr.Erul and intern Mr.Meor. They were welcoming and patient while entertaining guests, and try to tend to our needs, they were also patient in explaining and recommending the attractions in the theme park by making notes in the map and they have adequate knowledge in the attractions and schedules too.

The operation was good too. The crew will provide a standby phone number which you can call for any assistance you need at any time. Then there is a buggy service for glamping guest only which you can call for pickup for say going to the theme park or breakfast area from the camp or vice versa.

Though there are some kinks while staying at the camp, since the forest is right behind the camp, naturally there will tend to be mosquitos, A LOT of them during the night. They could improve on this aspect by preparing more mosquito repelling solutions such as mosquito incenses, spray, electronic repellants instead of just the mosquito spray which have unpleasant chemical smell.

Also early morning monkeys will come climbing around your tent looking for food, just give the crew a call and they will chase them away. Nothing to worry about except if you have left food out.

Overall it is an interesting experience.

An experience to remember, an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life to the wilderness.

The booking was fast with the assistance by Nora and Amirah (Sales Office) via Email. They were helpful in booking the rooms as per my request. I have added some added request (2 Single bed, easy access to lift - as I was traveling with a senior citizen with walking disability)

Directions are clear to the destination with waze, there are Mcdonalds and Starbucks nearby

There is also wheelchair provided with no extra charge by the (Hotel Only). The place also equipped with ramps for wheelchair. (wheelchair friendly)

I had the warmest welcome from the Front staff. Eda, Preya, Jagmeet and Shaan. They were informational, friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank You. Making our stay more memorable. Best first impression by the front staff.

The room was neat and clean. Great Housekeeping service asked for some refill of toiletries, tea and to die for coffee (the best coffee tbh) they were fast to send (10-15mins)

Complementary Onsen Hotspring was nice and therapeutic. The best food and AFORDABLE just eat your dinner there (Mee Kari, Keropok Lekor etc of local food, wish they serve hot food like that in Sunway Sunway (the food in sunway lagoon just fast food and extremally overpriced) ..
The onsen was nice the infinity pool, there is a cave too (so different and original) there are several pools and a slide +2 kids slide. The show was entertaining and magical (Fire Show) but the first 10 mins was boring tho...

Wish that it is nearer to KL tbh can go at least 2 times a week for onsen. will make it a monthly trip hopefully.

We booked the executive suite for 1 night. The Lost world of Tambun is nearby, within walking distance. The hotel is a bit off the centre of Ipoh. We arrived early around 1.30pm as we thought it was fairly far from the old town. We had to wait at the reception as the room wasn't ready. Finally got into the room around 2.30pm or so. The room is spacious and comfortable. It comes with a separate toilet for the living area and another toilet with bathroom attached to the bedroom. The view outside the room wasn't great - looking over back alley of some shoplots. The building itself is a bit dated, in particular the exterior. Perhaps it was intentional to fit the theme of the Lost world of Tambun or the surrounding. Soundproofing is poor, as we can hear noises from upper floor. Another shortcoming would be the lack of kitchen facility in this hotel and as such, breakfast is catered by the Lost world of Tambun at their small function room in the morning. We were surprised to find out that they do not cater for dinner. Luckily, we found out later that there are stalls selling food with the recreation park when we went for the night park.

We chose to do a 2d1n stay in the Lost World Hotel. Checked in around 6pm after we had an enjoyable day at the theme park. The ground staffs (Manager Ms Cathy & Receptionist Mr Chee Hoe) had already got our rooms ready and sanitized. Check in was swift which was great as the kids and I are all tired after a long day. Good thing was it’s just right across the park. Thus we can clean up and rest once out of the park. We also got 2 tickets of free access to the Hot Springs in the park at night, although we didn’t go as it was raining. We checked into our Classical room, with a view of the theme park. Room and bathroom was clean and well kept. Breakfast was served to our room the next morning. The kids enjoyed their first ever breakfast in bed. I love this point as we do not need to crowd at the breakfast area especially during pandemic. Finally we checked out with a heavy hearts (especially the kids). Check out was equally swift with the help of Ms Kar Men and Ms Cathy. We had a great stay at the the hotel and will definitely patron it again. Maybe next time I’ll get a connecting rooms (classical: king & 2 single beds) if my extended family is joining. Keep up the good work team Lost World Hotel.

Took an Executive Suite and the room comes in good size with two small TVs that have paltry channel selections. They are also not Smart TVs. There’s a big fridge but a dead lizard within that makes one not want to use it. The shower pressure is also Low and it’s temperature response is slow. However, the aircon works well and the bed is very comfortable. The wifi is extremely unreliable. Breakfast is ok but unspectacular, and the night park is good for a one hour walk around.

Booked a family suite with a connecting twin room for a family of 6 in our recent visit to the Lost World of Tambun. The rooms were clean with vast amount of space for the kids to run from 1 room to the other. Nellis, which is located right at the doorstep of the hotel, was a great addition with good local delicacies. The hotel also offers 35% off entrance tickets to the Lost World of Tambun upon checking in so there really isn't a need to purchase tickets ahead. Most importantly, Lost World of Tambun is conveniently located just a stone throw away from the hotel making day and night visits safe and easy for the family.

We chose to visit Lost World of Tambun theme park for me and my girl's birthday trip and we stayed at Lost World Hotel for 3D2N. It was a great experience during our stay. The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth. We checked in to 2 connecting rooms (classical king & 2 single beds) with the view of theme park. The kids were very excited can't wait to go theme park every time looking out the window!

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was served at the Garden Terrace in the theme park with decent varieties. Each room was given 2 free tickets to Hotspring Night Park which the kids enjoyed it so much especially the fire show. We will definitely come back again!

We stayed in Lost World Hotel during our visit to Ipoh on the 6th - 7th of May 2022. The room was nice and clean. However, the amenities, in this case the towels were insufficient so we requested for another 2 more but the staff said that they could not provide us any extra towels. So we leave it as it is. That was the only down part.

On the good side, the front office team were very kind and friendly. Bell service (Mr Shan) was very friendly and curteous. We had a good time chatting with him. He even assist us to take family photos. So kind of him to go the extra mile.

Will definitely be back!!

Amazing reception, hospitality and service provided by the hotel and their staffs! Check in was fast, hotel rooms were comfortable and clean, and its generally a very good place if you're looking for a short getaway with family.

The complimentary coffee and tea from rooms can also be purchased at the lobby Hotel. Great for souvenirs to bring home (guilty of buying some for the home instead).

All in all, would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
