I enjoyed my stay at the this hotel. It was in the middle of the old quarter, but very quiet and clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and supportive. For the price, it was exactly what I was looking for.
Stayed in room 15, twin bed with shower on 31/1-2/2, 3 nights.
I like below points:
1) good location which is near street night market and lot of food choices around. Also easy to walk to komtar and most tourist location.
2) good free WiFi...More

I took a prepaid taxi from the airport. Cost depends on arrival time as there is a surcharge for late night. Taxi is somewhat expensive by Asian standards but heaps cheaper than we would pay here in Australia. Also it is a bit of a distance from the airport to Georgetown about 10 or so kilometres so probably reasonable for how far you travel. There are also buses which would be cheaper but as I didn't use them for that journey I can't really comment.
