Perfect experiece in STAR. friendly and attentive staff, unparalleled service from the heart. Best breakfast buffet ever at cafe tatu. We tried peppino restaurant which was fantastic and reasonably priced, cakes in borneo lounge are mouthwatering. Even after we checked out,...

What was supposed to be the icing on our honeymoon cake was the least memorable hotel experience of our stay in Singapore and Malaysia. If you're expecting Shangri-La standard/comfort then you're in for a great disappointment, just as we had experienced. We booked a Mountain view room, but got a garden view, a garden blocked by trees. As for the...

We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel and I must say we had an amazing time. We were collected from the Airport by the hotel chauffeur, greeted by a lady serving us with nice cold drinks. Check-in was straight forward hassle free. We upgraded to the club room which was spacious with beautiful view. The club lounge were outstanding....

Stayed there for 4 days with my family for vaction. Experienced the followings 1. Cafe Tatu : - receptionist is always not available - food quality is average - one of staff at the egg counter teased on customer's English usage and chats with others 2. Requested for late check-out 1 day prior to our departure but later found out...

Excellent resort and its the best so far I have stayed. Staff are very friendly. Kids will love the entertaiment avaliable at the resort. All types of food avaliable but local is very tasty. If you like to see unforgettable sunset view book sea view club which allows you to see sunset every night.

First the good - lovely room and resort environment. The bad - unfriendly welcome to hotel, clumsy check-in, wifi works only intermittently in my room, breakfast area a zoo after 8am, latest international newspapers two days old, staff friendly but quite unengaged. Not a bad hotel by any means, but far short of the standard I expect based on price,...

We booked 6 nights at the Shangri La Tanjung Aru resort in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo. We had an amazing time and the staff at the hotel are superb (James T at the concierge desk in particular). The hotel was spotlessly clean despite it being quite busy. The only downside is the price of the food and drink in the hotel....
