This guesthouse is really great. It's located near enough central parts of Kuching, the dorm beds are beds, nothing more though but they gave a good nights sleep. The dorm has AC. The 'lounge' area is pretty small but it has a couch, TV and lots of movies. What made me give this guesthouse a 5 star rating is the...

As I first entered the common room, it struck me that I finally found a hostel in Borneo that has this typical 'hostel'-vibe (which is a good thing!). There is enough space to chill and hang out and it's a good place meet new people. Dorms are basic but decent, beds comfi. The showers on the other hand are amazing!!...

Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Strategic place if you are food hunter and a bar hopper who likes to party til 3AM. Accessible to foodshops, few minutes away from the river and just 15-20 minutes away from the airport buy cab.

Had a great stay here. Breakfast is basic and often had to ask for items such as milk but they always bought it when requested. Good location and the rooms are clean and cool. Was a really chilled out vibe and was really good selection of DVDs if you fancied watching a film

I really enjoyed my stay at the Seahare, so much so it took me over a week to actually leave (I had only planned to stay 3 days) Davo and Ben are great guys and very welcoming, along with their girlfriend/wife/family. You get a nice homey vibe here. The bar is great, especially for a sports fan like myself. Managed...

The staff is so amazing, Ben and Dave, are so hospitable and friendly. My bed was comfy, clean towels, clean shower, A/C, and a chill lounge area, great for meeting new people. This hostel was the highlight of my stay in Kuching. I spent my time with the hostel owner's son, Zaki, and he later started calling me Uncle Joey!...

We had booked a private double for 3 nights in Kuching. When we arrived, the guys were helpful and gave us loads of advice. However, the room was awful (room 1). The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept in (you could feel each spring) and in the morning we discovered lots of yellow stains all over the...

As soon as we entered the hostel we felt immediately relaxed and at ease with big smiles on our faces. Ben and the team were so welcoming and extremely helpful. We didn't spend that much time at the hostel itself as we booked on to many tours. All these tours were arranged through seahare. As soon as we arrived we...

Firstly, Ben and Dave were top guys, the owners, so I am sorry to write this review but I feel that it was necessary after our stay last night. My expectations aren't unreasonable, and I am certainly not pedantic, so I urge you to take this seriously and make improvements. My girlfriend and I stayed in room 1, a private...

What a shame to read a review like this! most of our guests are very happy with the hostel, Firstly I would like to say that we did have a problem with our laundry company that we used, some sheets we realized were coming back with these yellow/brown water marks on them, I can assure you that they are 100%...
