It's 2.30 at night right now and the party (somewhere way to close) is still going strong. If you want to visit a National Park in the morning like us, this is really not the best place to get a good Night sleep. On top of that the airconditioning can either be switched on or off, no in betweens, no...

The room that I was given is Room No. 4, and what freaked me out throughout the night was the loud noisy sound from the toilet. Every 30 to 60 minutes once when the water pressure rises, it creates a very loud noises that wakes you up. Then moving on to the bed. The bed itches and hard for me...

We stay here for almost a week. We find this hostel was actually at the city centre and easy to access any restaurant but far from any shopping complexes. If you are able to withstand along walk then you have no problem as we did. This was a nice memorable experience for us during our stay, perhap one day we...

Very noisy due to the nearby karaoke bar. The room was very dirty.Tv has two working channels ,both in Malay. Water coolers do not cool . Air con worked fine although noisy. Bedding not changed in four days. Towels , the size of hand towels , were only changed on request. Please pay a little extra and find somewhere better.

Room needed a better clean upon my arrival...the Satellite TV (smallest flat screens I have ever seen!!) are rubbish with only 4 channels and NO English...bedding and linen and towels were fine though, air con great (although it does leak water onto the desk at times you will have to lay down a towel to soak it on up), wi-fi...

Room was clean and cheap. had a decent shower, clean towels, two beds, free wifi. A few really good bars and restaurants close by. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and informative. I will stay here again next time I come, no sense in paying top dollar for just a place to sleep.

Premium Stay Hostel - Kuching We booked for two nights initially and stayed for five. A good location (find the Lime Tree Hotel and it's on the cross street right next to that). Good strong wifi signal and good internet connection in the rooms (and we had the last room furtherest away from the router!) There was no window to...

The hostel is near the padungan road and the cat statue, very old town area. But it is a bit far to the famous area like india street or the riverside. Room is big and clean. The reception are very friendly and helpful during my stay. About 5-10 minutes walk to one of the old market (24 hours).

We stayed in a family room with one queen, 2 single beds that were comfortable. The room had a balcony and was light and clean. As others have said, friendly staff and pretty good location. It's hard to find a family room at a reasonable price - we paid 115RM which is really good. There were a few downsides. The...
