Dar Al Manar is a fantastic guest house. It is beautifully decorated. My husband and I spent two nights there and it was very romantic and restful. Fatima has an incredible sense of design. I have been impressed by many houses in Morocco (some of the best interior design in the world). Dar Al Manar is at the top of... More

The place is small, we have seen 4 rooms, very spacious, nicely decorated. The views are nice, big garden, terrase in front, places for parking around 2-3 km north from the city, close to the lighhouse and Pullman golf and resort. There is a dining and living room you can use with fireplace. Breakfast with excellent Moroccan pancakes inlcuded. You... More

This hotel is simply wonderful, a design oasis close to beach and town and was the biggest surprise during our trip through Morocco. It is a little bit outside of El Jadida (maybe 3 km, you'll need a car), in a totally quiet environment. However, one has wonderful views, including the sea as well as the lights and silhouette of... Very nicely decorated quiet oasis just outside Al Jadida. Our room was large and spotless. The entire property is well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night - we would have loved to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere longer.

We loved our stay with the friendly and fascinating Fatima. She made us an incredibly meal and accommodated our gluten intolerance with grace. We all agreed that the meal was the best of our whole trip. The rooms were elegant and comfortable and Fatima was so sweet with our daughter, making sure she was happy. We enjoyed the peace of... While I love the excitement of medinas and city centers, this house was such a welcome contrast to the busy cities and offered a perfect opportunity to take a deep breath and relax. We spent one night here on our way from Essaouira to Rabat and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The rooms are incredibly spacious,... More

El Jadida is a genuine little coastal town with nice beaches and an old medina. Dar el Manar is situated on the countryside and you need a car to get to the beach or town. It is a beautiful villa that feels like Tuscany/Italy, it is set in a lush garden with scenic views over the landscape. The rooms are... More

We stayed at Dar Al Manar for one short night, arriving about 5:00 pm and departing for the Casablanca airport at 4:00 am (!) the next day. Fatima was very welcoming and cordial. The decor in both the common rooms of the house and our Rabat Room was tasteful, and we particularly liked the photography and décor books that we... More
