Riad Emotion Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem and my friend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The staff is so so warm and welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast is absolutely delicious - particularly the orange blossom yogurt!! YUM! And the common spaces are exquisite! It was such a wonderful place to call home while we were exploring such a beautiful city and located right at the heart of the Medina it was so central located that it made it great particularly after a night of listening to beautiful music on a roof top terrace - our beds were always only a few blocks away. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina. Phillipe and Giselle are wonderful hosts, and their staff are very attentive and kind. The interior design is stunning and everything has been thought of. Lovely touches such as rose petals scattered. When we left they gave us snacks for the journey and some very high quality Argan oil. Highly recommended

Giselle, Philippe and their entire staff were really welcoming and provided an excellent level of service during our entire stay. The whole riad is beautifully designed and is the product of Giselle and Phillipe's creative vision and hard work. Our room was gorgeous, very clean and very inviting. There were times it was such a struggle to go out and explore Essaouria since it was so tempting to just laze around in our stunning room. Breakfast was top-notch and probably the best one we've had in our entire stay in Morocco. I would definitely recommend staying in this place! My husband and I are very keen on returning to Essaouira and staying here again.

Riad Dar Emotion is tucked away in a small side street in the médina of Essaouira and from the outside you would scarcely notice it, but once inside you encounter a hidden gem. This riad is small but beautifully furnished. The walls are covered with fine paintings. The guest rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious. But most of all the atmosphere is welcoming and very friendly. Thank you so much to Giselle, Philippe and the staff of the riad for making our stay so pleasant.

Tucked away within the medina of Essaouira, this riad was a perfect place to escape from busy Marrakech. We stayed in Arganier suite - the room was tastefully decorated with lovely scented local amenities and a really comfortable bed. A Nespresso machine in the room was also greatly appreciated - these little things do make a lot of difference when you are visiting countries where we do not speak the language and finding our way around is not so easy. We visited here in colder December and the room was kept warm when we checked in. Despite of our very late arrival after a very long drive from Atlas, the lady welcomed us with a incredible hospitality. Next morning, we found ourselves at an incredibly romantic breakfast room - it is something like out of a movie. Breakfast was beautifully served - all home made, very tasty and changed daily. Last but not least, we could smell beautiful fresh flowers everyday as we come down the stairs... and we wish we could stay here much longer. Thank you so much for the lovely time - my husband still talks about Riad Dar Emotion and we look forward to return again!…

Highly recommended place. The roon service was perfect, breakfast is excellent, internet conexion never fail, and the attention of the owners is very good too. The Hotel in the central part of the Medina, means that everything is 10 minutes walking distance.

Beautiful decorated riad with excellent beds, perfect location and an outstanding, breakfast. Good coffee. Clean rooms. Riad is managed by a french serviceminded couple. Very nice staff. Generous roof terrasse.

The petit déjeuner (or rather 'grand dejeuner') was magnificent; a perfect start to the day before exploring Essaouira. The entire Riad was beautifully designed and perfectly comfortable, Philippe and Giselle were wonderfully accommodating and helpful. A real home away from home.

We stayed at Riad Dar Emotion for two nights in October. The Riad was a good value and nicely maintained. The service was very good and the hosts and staff were welcoming. The location is inside the medina, but if I were to go back to Essaouira I would stay closer to the beach since I had already stayed in the medina in Marrakech. The hosts gave us great recommendations for restaurants and helped us make reservations. In fact, we found the food in Essaouria to be the best we had in all of Marrakech. My only complaints with this Riad is that the rooms were not very private (there were two chairs right outside the door to our room and other guests were often sitting there) and there were a few things in the room that needed maintenance (for example the toilet was a little wobbly and the electric outlet in the bathroom did not work). I also found it a little odd that the Riad would not share their WIFI password, but instead typed it directly into our phones. Most other Riads would give us a piece of paper with all the details in case we needed to use it with iPads, other devices, etc.…
