We agree with the other reviewers: this is a wonderful place to stay in Essaouira. It has everything: incredible terrace view, wonderful hosts, fabulous breakfasts served on the terrace, kind and thoughtful staff, and a beautiful riad with impeccable rooms with every detail thought out. Both of us can also attest to the skills of the on-site masseuse: she gives... More

On our last day of a two week tour of Morocco we found the Riad La Perle d'Eau beyond compare. The room and location were all perfect due to the acute attention of the delightful hosts. For dining in the hosts had a fish dinner prepared that was wonderful. We had a delightful balcony despite not being on the ocean... More

We stayed for two nights as a relaxing break. The road is beautiful and spotless and the hosts make a real effort to be welcoming and make your stay special. Breakfast was fantastic. We had a 2 hour hammam and massage in the spa which was well worth it. The roof terrace is right on the sea front which is... More

Great place to stay in Essaouira for a few nights (or more). It is luxurious, clean, quiet and very welcoming. The owners (a couple) also live in this house and make sure their guests are not deprived of the top service and everything the Riad has to offer. Personnel of the Riad is also very friendly and helpful. The room... More

We just returned from a wonderful visit to Morocco and the Riad Perle d'Eau was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We stumbled upon this place after staying at another riad that couldn't accommodate us on our final night. While the first riad was nice, the Riad Perle d'Eau was out of this world lovely. Our room, which... More

We stayed here 2 nights and the owners treated us like royalty. The rooms were excellent as was the breakfast. They cooked us an evening meal, as we did not wont to eat out, and no words can describe this delicious, tasty meal, and SO much food. We had to leave early to catch our flight 5am and they left... Fabulous place. Our room was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. All staff were lovely and our hosts Giselle and Ernest couldn't do enough for us. Yes it's down an alley but that's part of the charm - away from the hustle and bustle. The sea view is stunning from the terrace. Wifi worked too! Loved it.

In May my wife and I spent two and a half weeks in Morocco and toured throughout the country. We had accommodations in over a half dozen Riads, and Dars, hotels, etc. and toured extensively in countryside and cities. It was our second trip to Morocco. We had spent eleven days in the country the year before. We spent two... More

My friend and I stayed 2 nights (11-13 May 16) in this beautiful Riad with the most amazing seaviews from the rooftop, the breakfast was served at the rooftop, we really enjoyed the views. Hotel owners and staff are so friendly and trusted us for giving a set of the house keys, feel like the Riad is our home :)... More

What a wonderful riad with fantastic hosts and staff! Every detail was thought of, from the gorgeous toiletries (fresh, fluffy white towels every day) to the safe in the room. The bedroom was beautifully furnished with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was cleaned every morning. Ernest, the owner, was a bottomless source of history... More
