What a gorgeous hotel! The public spaces and sun roof are absolutely exquisit, and so are most rooms. My own room was simple, but came at no single occupancy surcharge and had fast reliable wifi at all times. Upstairs rooms will have been quieter but I was told that WiFi is patchy. The whole space was spotless with plumbing in good working order, although my bathroom was tiny and they need to make it clear to guests that this is not drinking water. Breakfast was plated rather than buffet and not for me, but after I spoke to the manager I got less of some things and more of others. Location is in the middle of the medina, with lots of shops and food options nearby. I got lost in the medina on days 1 and 2, so I definitely recommend remembering landmarks! Highly recommend this place - would have been 6 stars without breakfast :-)

It is a very large riad with many stairs in every direction. You cannot access it by car. You have to leave it in a parking lot 600 or 700m away (50 dirhams per night), then ask porters who are waiting with their carts to transport the luggage to the riad (50 dirhams). We had 2 terrace rooms. Fortunately, the riad staff takes the luggage up because the stairs are narrow and complicated. The rooms are very simple, without air conditioning. In the morning, we were suddenly woken up at 5 a.m. by the muezzin, because the loudspeakers of the mosque were barely a few meters from the windows that we had left open. The breakfast is complete and fresh. It is served on the ground floor, at the bottom of the central patio. We also had the evening meal. The grilled sea bream was fresh and delicious, but lots of bones.

Since 2007 I have been staying more than 7 times at this beautiful romantic and very charming traditional Moroccan Riad. It is very well situated in the heart of the old Medina, surrounded by shops, restaurants and art galleries and walking distance to the beach and fishing port. The two hosts Said and Brahim are great guys and always make me feel at home in their beautiful old romantic Riad. The riad is offering a 3 course dinner, which I can strongly recommend. Overall I can say I love this place where you can enjoy breakfast on the rooftop terrace. By far, my favorite Riad in Morocco!

It would take so little to make this place a gem! We spent 2 nights here. The common rooms are beautiful and charming and this is a very historic riad. Unfortunately, the pictures of the rooms online are not at all what you get. They are dirty (there were foot imprints on a half-wall in our room) and smell moldy. The curtains are falling apart and shouldn’t be moved or else they will fall off.
While I know the hotel will likely respond to this post that they appreciate my review and are sorry about the experience of the rooms, I wish instead they would increase their prices just slightly and give the rooms new paint, curtains and furniture - it would go such a long way and turn around all of these bad reviews they are getting!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious, decorated beautifully and there was a vase of fresh roses on the table in our sitting area, in fact there were fresh roses throughout the riad. It was quiet and peaceful and we had a good sleep. It was one of the best riads we stayed in throughout Morocco.

The location in the middle of the old medina is good for visiting the place. Unfortunately, the building is quite noisy and there is a musty smell throughout the room. If you turn on the ventilation in the bathroom, it starts to stink. Breakfast was ok, service was typically slow and uninspired. There are certainly better alternatives locally.

We have just returned from a week here. Hotel was very clean, our room was more of a suite than a room as it included 2 sofas, two armchairs and 2coffee tables. Bed was very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were changed every day. The breakfast was excellent consisting of: Always a mini baguette, local yogurt, jam, honey, orange juice, m’smen, fruit and hot beverage of choice. Then variably a brioche, a couscous cake or pancake with either boiled egg or cheese. It was very filling and the staff were always very helpful. The proprietors were friendly and helpful from advising on local areas of interest to arranging our taxi back to the airport. We are looking forward to returning and have already recommended it to friends and family.

The riad is beautifully restored and has a very relaxing ambience. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. The location is a bit lively and ideal for exploring the medina and the waterfront; it is not a beach hotel close to the sand beach.

Central location in the heart of the bazaar. Imposing structure with large richly decorated courtyards overlooked by the rooms which are indeed large, but modestly furnished. The same goes for the bathrooms that old-fashioned toilets have. On the other hand, the shower is spacious. The night, however, passed peacefully between the comfort of the beds and the tranquility of the place. Breakfast was plentiful: fruit, orange juice, yogurt, bread, harcha (sesame and corn flour sandwich) and jam.

We stayed there 2 nights. The location is great, the staff very kind, the patio is beautiful. On the other hand there was a strong smell of unpleasant humidity, the room ( 3) was very dark and the bathroom is in great need of renovation Finally there is little missing for it to be perfect
