I phoned at 6:30 on Wednesday afternoon, explaining my dilemma and after a few seconds Mrs Loftie-Eaton accommodated me. That quick and friendly helpfulness swept me off my feet as this was the 12th call. The eleven before this call rejected my dilemma and was not prepared Within half an hour I was save and sound in the Backpackers with...

We camped here and were very impressed by the helpfulness of the staff and the facilities offered. Big bbq area, lounge, kitchen, and free wifi. It's a great place to base yourself to explore the city and to relax. We loved our stay, thank you!

There were really great facilities to use; WiFi, kitchen, lounge, BBQ. Everyone was super helpful with advise on things to do and all friendly. Camp grounds good and caters for overlanders with roof top tents. Seemed very safe to stay.

Let me preface this review by saying that the hostel is lovely, brand new, clean and uber secure, however the price is a little high but probably in love with the rest of swakopmund prices. However there is just no hostel or backpackers vibe here so if you want to stay be prepared to make your own fun. However it...

Stayed at this backpackers hostel for 2 nights in a private room. The room was very clean with fridge and our own bathroom. The owner is a very nice and kind lady. We really felt at home. There is a shared kitchen, with all the cooking facilities and out side barbecue. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Few minutes walk...

The dorm rooms are very clean and cosy and very reasonably priced. Also stayed in a single room which was large and very comfortable. Lovely outside garden area and large kitchen you can use (with free tea and coffee). Short walk from the centre of the city. Staff helped me to book day trips and were very friendly.

I stayed in a 3 bed dorm for my entire duration. The place was clean and the service was decent. There was an older white lady, who was around during the day and a local Namibian that helped out. They were always ready to help out with booking tours - skydiving, sandboarding, rental cars. It has a decent sized kitchen...

The place seems extremely new, facilities are in great shape. The dorm room that I stayed in was extremely spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was the cleanest that I’ve seen, with sparkling refrigerators. A huge pitfall is no free wifi. One has to pay another N30 for wifi access.

We spend one night there with our group after a 2 week wildlife session. Was great to have a warm and proper shower after this time and also that we could stay in a room with the group. A really nice place especially for backpackers which is definitely to recommended :)
