A place where they welcome you like a king, very friendly and dedicated personnel to ensure your stay is great. The rooms are good, limited in space but sufficient. Interior somewhat outdated but bed is good and comfortable. Restaurant serves great food for a reasonable price. The bar is nice to sit and relax with a nice cold drink. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book Langholm again when I'm in Walvis Bay.

As I have stayed at the Langholm on business many times in the past few years it was my first choice for overnight accommodation during my recent road trip visit to Namibia. The hotel is well established but equally well maintained with a dozen or so beautifull appointed rooms most set around a garden courtyard. The Langholm pub is the ideal place to relax with a sundowner after a long days touring or work. The establishment's collection of caps is legendary. There are literally thousands of caps festooning the cozy bar. Bring one of your own ( The host values even corporate branded caps). For every cap donated to the bar a complimentary Jaegermeister awaits your pleasure.
The Langholm serves a complete continental and cooked breakfast and wholesome evening dinners on special request.
Overall,a great place to stay inWalvis Bay and exceptionally good value for money.

Stayed there last weekend while down in Walvis Bay. This is is a locally owned and run establishment. Rooms are nice, the food is good. Didn't need the wifi so I cannot say much about it. My only comment about the rooms is that the safe is very small. Most travelers have laptops/iPads/cameras which they would like to secure when they leave their rooms.
When I checked out I made a booking for my family in December as we'll be in Walvis Bay for a wedding. That's a pretty good recommendation.

Hi Dr Fuller Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to review the Langholm Hotel following your stay two weekends ago. We are really happy that we met a number of your expectations and glad you enjoyed your stay enough to make a booking in mid-December when we look forward to welcoming you back to the Langholm. Thanks for your suggestion regarding the size of the safes in the rooms. The management team will be tasked to address this identified need. Kind regards and look forward to seeing you in December. Nic

Hi there
Walvis Bay is not a large city and it is quite easy to get around. No uber but private taxis are an option if one does not want to hire a car.
We will gladly arrange any tours you would like to undertake.
There are marine tours to view dolphins and seals , trips to sandwich harbour by 4x4 and a most interesting historical tour of the desert and dunes that surrounds walvis bay by quadbike.
Please let us know qhat you arw interested in and we shall book to suit.
Kind regards
Nic
