We ate at Vereda Tropical Hotel the four nights we were in Taboga. There are not too many options, but that is okay as the dinners at Vereda were wonderful. We had seafood 3 of the 4 nights - it was fresh and very tasty. The scenery from the terrace was lovely, the service was great and the Sangria terrific....

Amazing, charming little hotel with nice fish in the restaurant and attentive staff. Hotel is really super charming and lovely, so the base for a fantastic place is here. But, the breakfast sucks, i mean it's the worst breakfast i have ever had, and i've visited over a hundred hotels, inns and b&Bs worldwide, including the worlds' poorest countries. Breakfast...

You can see the hotel from the boat dock so if you don't have a reservation go straight there. We were lucky and got the last room on a long weekend. We were able to check in at 1100 which was an added bonus. It was small but we are not there to stay in the room. The bathroom had...

Dec. 2001: We planned a day trip to see the island but were so enchanted we stayed overnight. We had an excellent hike up to the giant cross high atop the island, Cerro de la Cruz along with the San Pedro church built in 1524 or 1514 -- I can't remember exactly. Excellent historical significance. Lots of sea glass and...

A brief, but very pleasant, ferry ride 12 miles from Panama City, brings you to the idyllic Isla Taboga. High on the hill overlooking the Island, is the Vereda Tropical Hotel, a charming hotel surrounded by houses in brilliant colors as well as tropical flowers blooming everywhere. Greeted warmly by the staff, we selected a corner room with a small...

This charming, hospitable, and inviting paradise just a stone's throw from Panama City is not to be missed! Easy to get to - they will meet you at the dock and help you up to the hotel. The rooms are comfortably simple with outstanding views and the sound of the lapping waves give a peacefulness that can't be beat. The...

This review is for the restaurant only since we didn't actually stay here. The food was fantastic! The decor was nice, the place was very clean, and it had great views of the ocean, both from inside and on the patio. While I was in Panama I ate Corvina every single day, and sometimes twice a day, and this was...

A short boat ride from Panama City is a small tropical paraise called Isla Taboga. If you want a romantic escape from the bustle of Panama City, then I recommend the Vereda Tropical Hotel. You will be torn between enjoying the colorful decoration inside or the amazing sea view outside. Combine both and open the window of your room letting...

I've been going to Vereda Topical Hotel for 6 years. I usually go for week to relax or more. There isn't anything to do on the island except read on the beach. The hotel is very inviting and beautifully kept. The restaurant has the best menu and chef on the island. The view from the restaurant-terrace is spectacular at all...
