My best friend and I spent 24 wonderful hours relaxing on Julio and Julianna’s island. The atmosphere on the island is so calm and relaxing and the service is personal, charming and excellent. The room was big and very comfortable with a hot shower, wifi and a private balcony. Julio is the most gracious host, sharing openly his life story and the story of the Uros people. His outlook on life is wonderful and I was very inspired by his values. If I could, I would rate this 6 stars

What can I say, we enjoyed our stay at Titicaca Lodge so much! The best part about staying here was our host Julio. He is the magic behind this tiny 4-room lodge. I can't say enough about him. He takes such great care of the guests and is the most humble, gracious man...such a delight to have met and spent time with him. Julio gives a lot of credit of the success of the lodge to his wife and I had the opportunity to meet her once. I would have liked to have gotten a chance to speak with her more. Our room was incredible. The sun rises on one side and sets on the other with the most amazing sunsets. Be prepared because it is literally winter in the morning and summer in the afternoon. They have a 'fireplace' (flames burn from alcohol) in the rooms which was definitely needed during the night because it gets quite cold. That said, they have so many blankets on the bed, that you won't feel cold. Oh yes, they also provide hot water bottles every night. Outside each room is a covered gazebo which we used every afternoon. We read, slept and enjoyed just watching the occasional boat pass by. My husband loves very cold water, so he jumped in every morning and afternoon. I watched him swim and kayak everyday. I was happy to be lazy and chill out in the gazebo. They provide outdoor blankets for when it starts to get cold. If you have any doubts about staying here, don't. GO. It was an incredible visit! A big thanks to Julio and Juliana!

Summary: A completely unique experience that exceeds expectations. The Good: Host: Julio is an amazing host, from the pick-up at the harbour, the tour of the Uros Islands, serving you food, taking you on a paddle of the lake in his hand-made boat - he does it all and nothing is too much trouble for him. Food: The food I ate here is the best I've had so far in Peru. Compliments to the chef. One on one: Julio provides solutions based on his guests needs. In my case he went above and beyond to align my arrival and departure to the island with my schedule, including arranging an Uros and Taquile Island tour in between to ensure I didn't miss anything. The room: the accomodation is amazing. Despite being on a floating island, you have all of the comforts you might expect. Power (via Solar) to charge your phone, a full bathroom and access to a hot shower. A super comfortable bed, where I had a restful sleep. The Bad: NOTHING. Conclusion: This is a completely unique experience to say you have stayed on an island built by Julio and his family. Take some time to learn more about the Uros Islands history and you will understand what an achievement this is. Thank you Julio and family for the amazing stay, you helped create memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.

We spent two beautiful days in Titicaca Lodge Peru. The lodge is magical, well equipped, stylish and the owner Hulio is very nice and welcoming men. I recommend to spend some time in this gorgeous lodge and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the lake. Staying on the floating island was a unique experience and much better option then Puno.

Words can't describe how magical our experience was and we would give 100 stars if we could. From the hosts, to the rooms, to the location, we couldn't have asked for a better stay to round out our incredible vacation. Absolutely a trip of a lifetime and staying at Titicaca Lodge Peru shouldn't be missed for anyone planning to visit Peru. - THE LOCATION: nestled amidst the floating islands of Uros on Lake Titicaca, this destination is unlike anything we've ever encountered. The people of Lake Titicaca have maintained a unique floating lifestyle for centuries, and staying here immerses you in their vibrant community, offering an unimaginable experience for most. The rich history of this place is bound to shift your perspective on your own life and what truly matters. - THE HOSTS: Julio and his wife are the epitome of warm and attentive hosts. They've meticulously considered every detail to ensure your comfort. Beyond that, they are genuinely kind, deserving, and hardworking individuals who have poured their hearts into making their lodge unforgettable. - THE ROOMS: our room was stylishly decorated and simply magical. The bed was comfy, warm, and gave us an incredible view of the sunrise. From the back, we had a glass dome that was perfect for catching sunsets and star gazing. You have everything you need and it feels like you're staying at a 5-star resort. - THE FOOD: Julio's wife makes authentic, homemade food everyday with fresh ingredients brought in from Puno. The quality and presentation was top-notch and we were overall very impressed! - THE ACTIVITIES: Julio and his wife have meticulously curated every aspect of your stay. From authentic reed boat tours (in a boat crafted by Julio himself, in the tradition passed down by his father and grandfather) around the neighboring floating islands to offerings like kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards – they've thought of everything. Additionally, they organized an exceptional day trip for us to Taquile Island, an absolute must-visit for anyone exploring Lake Titicaca. There was always an opportunity for exploration and learning. Each room also has its own daybed, perfect for those who wish to relax and soak in the mesmerizing lake views. All in all, I couldn't recommend this lodge more (and this is coming from someone who travels more days than not and enjoys the experience and amenities of 5-star resorts). It guarantees a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will undoubtedly leave you with enduring lessons about life's true priorities.

I quote all the previous positive comments of the other guests. We have been Julio's guest for 2 wonderfull days. This has been an extremely beatiful experience. The place: we had our own great and clean lodge on Julio's island, built of Juncos. Confortable bed, soon after the sunset the temperature quickly drop next to 0°C, however, in night time a complex multiple strate of blankets will completely protect you. The history: He explained us everything about how these islands are built and the hisotory of their population, and I can say that it's one of the most interesting things I've heard in years. The food: considering all the limits that they have in living in these kind of structure, we've been really impressionated on the great quality of the food and on how they cure even the presentation. With our 'confortable' mentality we couldn't understand how they do it. The price: considering the maintenance needed for these structure, the amazing place and the food, the price is really fair. Julio: in 2 days I've never seen him resting 1 minute, a kind of self made man who put all his energies and passion in his business. He does all the technicall stuff needed to run a structure like this, then he guides the tourists in discovering the history of these islands, then it turns in a waiter for breakfast, lunch and dinner time. You will not find only a great place, great food, great history and fair prices, you will find even a great example to follow.
