Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rooms are nice and clean, we are here with a group so not sure of the price. The staff are great, the only draw back are the eggs at the breakfast buffet (which is included in the rate) need to be cooked more, lol they are pretty runny for scrambled. No hesitation in suggesting you stay here for a basic clean and comfortable stop over,

My family and I recently stayed at Casa Anina Premium in Puno. While we were there I celebrated my birthday. My husband asked the hotel staff to organize a surprise birthday cake but the team (Julio, Miriam and Oscar) went above and beyond! They surprised me with a delicious cake, a Peruvian gift, a banner, balloons and birthday song. The heart-centered Peruvian people and the service from the staff at the hotel have made my day!

I stayed one night at this property after arriving by rail in the evening and being unable to visit the Uros Islands until the following morning. I had an excellent sleep in a comfortable bed, in a well appointed room that had all the basics covered well. Breakfast was also basic, but adequate the next morning. Pancakes, juice, scrambled eggs etc. Two days later, even though I was no longer a guest, the hotel staff kindly let me wait in the lobby for my bus out of Puno as I had incorrectly set this as my pick up point with my bus company and couldn’t change it. The staff were very kind to me and let me remain in the lobby for two hours until I was picked up. They also securely stored my bag so I had the option to leave and come back if I wanted to.

This Hotel is located fairly close to the shores of Lake Titicaca – in fact a Rickshaw ride took us there in five minutes or so. We were here for only one night, so we were not picky about the quality of the room. We had one that was adequate – with a comfortable bed, a heater, two large chairs, and a small bathroom. The room, on the ground floor, had no view, but was quiet, so we were OK. The morning Breakfast had a lot of choices to get us on our way. Service from everyone was wonderful. The location was also good – very accessible to the Main Square and lots of restaurants. We had to leave early the next morning, but they safely held our luggage for us till we returned in the afternoon.

This hotel is quiet and beautiful. The location is perfect if you plan to take a boat ride and tour the Uros floating islands. Lake views from the hotel are also great. I would definitely stay here again.

I am always impressed with the excellent service I receive from the staff at all the Casa Andina's I have stayed at. The Standard hotels are just that..Standard, but if you are not spending much time in your hotel room that's all you really need is a clean comfortable room. I find the included breakfast a bonus especially if you are in a hurry to go on a tour. It was nice that they offered us a packed breakfast when they learned we would be checking out before breakfast started. Although not the greatest at least we had something to eat on the 5 hour bus trip.

This hotel is nicely located in the shopping district in Puno! There are many great eats and shopping opportunities. Very safe area and has amazing hotel staff. Clean rooms the decor is just simple however you have everything you need to be comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful and they have a coffee/tea station full stock 24/7. The shower floor was heated which was a nice touch and they have heaters in the rooms that work well and extra blankets if needed. Bring your own wash cloth they do not provide any.

I stayed a few nights at Casa Andina while on a Gate 1 tour. The hotel was very nice and clean. It's located on the main street which leads to the main square. My guide did not suggest I wonder around Puno alone unless I stayed on the street between the hotel and the square. It was well lit and there were many shops and restaurants on this street. I would suggest this hotel when staying in Puno.

A big thank you to the Casa Andina Team, particularly Mirian, Ronald, Manu and Maritza for making my stay memorable! The team showcased genuine care, friendliness and attentiveness when I needed it the most. They always checked on me to ascertain I felt well, as I struggled with altitude sickness. A massive thank you once again! Casa Andina would not be the same without you!
