Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent service and a staff full of joy and motivation! It was my first experience staying in a hotel for almost three weeks and I was overwhelmed with the service the hotel provide and especially the service of the staff and the management as well. Hope time will come and I will be back in this simple, yet wonderful Hotel!

I love how my room is pitch black when you turn off the lights and the bedsheets are amazingly comfortable. I love their 24-cafe and had a good meal for a very reasonable price. The staff were amazing and very courteous.

Stayed here 2 nights . On the first night within an hour i so of arrival last charging my plugs i had a short circuit and the room had a smoky smell and i found that my usb and world adaptor plug had been blown. I changed rooms. I spent about an hour speaking to reception and also ringing agoda in the philippines to resolve this issue. I had some reimbursement from agoda but the hotel manager could not offer more than a complimentary meal which was less the value of the damage done to my world adaptor and two phone usb chargers. Staff had been helpful in liaising for me with the manager however i had not been able to resolve issues regarding damage to my electrical belongings. A staff member lent me the office charger there so I could charge my phone as i was now without charger and plugs . The hotel was not bothered about the damage caused to myself and the inconvenience on day one of my trip. I received the complimentary meal the next day and staff have been helpful in my enquiries regarding manila. I however i would not recommend stay at this hotel. I was also not informed about their was no hot water during my stay. Staff had provided me a bucket of hot water after i requested it however this was inconvenient when thinking of the beginning of my holiday inn the philippines. I would not recommend any stay at this hotel as the manager apart from your money is not bothered about the quality of your stay.  It's also not close to makati business centre and is in desolate area that offers nothing.

Nice little hotel. The place was clean and nice, no frills. Easy check in and check out. Booked a standard room (queen bed) which would be a little small if it was being shared, but okay for 1 person. Walls seem thin though that one could hear laughter from the rooms in the hallway. Location-wise, its on the tail end of a university district so there are a number of local and cheap restaurants nearby. Its also a short taxi ride from the malls (Greenbelt in Makati).

This is the review I wrote for AGODA before I found out that my charger went missing: "Check-in was a bit slow because front desk could not find my Agoda booking but when I showed my confirmation everything was fine. My room on the 3rd was better than expected though there was no in-room safe but Cable and WIFI we quite good. Location might seem a bit scary at first (especially at night) but it is actually fine. I will not hesitate to book this hotel again when in Manila". I am almost that one of the housekeeping staff took the charger and hotel overall does not seem to care.Of course worse could have gone missing! So no serious complainte, just so you know.

Had a great 2 night stay at this hotel and not unless you want to stay inside your room and hotel 24 hours, this has everything you need to rest and sleep. Amenities are more than adequate. In fact, the size of the hotel gives it a cozy feeling. Staff is very courteous and helpful and lounging area and restaurant is good enough. I highly recommend this hotel if you are constantly out and just need a place to sleep.

Our expectations on this trip was to find a suitable place to stay so that we could visit our family in the Philippines. The Alejandra Hotel has the most friendly and willing to help staff you could ever want. The rooms were clean and equipped with a comfortable bed and accommodations our belongings. We felt very safe and welcomed during our stay. They also offer the option to have breakfast every morning in one of their two restaurants. In addition, it was quite nice to have one of those restaurants open 24 hours 7 days a week open. The hotel is also located adjacent to a street that has multiple eateries for you to choose from. They are also in walking distance (less than a mile) from a shopping mall that has both restaurants and a grocery store. WiFi is available and sufficient enough to text amd email but I am not sure it would be able to manage live streaming although I did not try it. Although they are located near a busy street, inside the hotel it is very quiet. We would have no hesitations in staying at the Alejandra on our next trip to the Philippines.

Great room on the third floor. Very large and clean. Bed was a bit hard, but it had lots of amenities and the staff could not have been nicer! Good location although lots of traffic and some noise at night. Great price!
