This hotel is cheap and located in downtown Cebu. You can just walk to the historical place in Cebu. This is better than the other cheap hotel. There is a hot and cold shower, a slipper, a flat screen tv and a nice bed and you can see the view of the downtown. This hotel is also near in Elizabeth...

Me and my friends got to stay here for 2nights and I can say that its not that pricey unlike others. What I dont like about this is that they have limited socket. Cr was great with hot and cold shower. Room was big for the 5 of us and hotel receptionists are pretty and accomodating.

Unreliable wifi and management don't care. Keep your receipts if your staying long term where you have to extend, I caught 1 of the front desk lady name Joy took 1 of my days away that I already paid, I guess she want to pocket the money for herself!

Hi Lik111 We apologize for the Wifi, as we don't have control over the reliability of the internet speed, since we are limited to choices in internet providers here in the country. Rest assured, the management cares for our guests, and internet speed and wifi is also included, as this is now an important amenity. Regarding the receipt incident, may...

Hotel is top floors of tall office building. View from balcony was VERY good of city and harbor area. Good security at elevator. Hotel is budget and room was not large. To get a view its great value for money. Good option for the older section of town.

We stayed here for two nights. They had no budget rooms available but only rooms with hot water, tv, internet, and own terrace. The rooms are nothing fancy, but still very cheap - we've paid more for less several other places. We found a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor, but that was all. And honestly, it didn't bother me....

I stayed here one night and I'd stay again if I couldn't find anywhere else but I've certainly seen better budget hotels in my life. The room was kind of dingy and could have been cleaner. The building is large and sort-of cell-block like, a lot of cement and not much light. The wifi was good enough to send a...

I was once stayed on this hotel. The experience is just average. The rooms are very small and a lil bit smelly. Bathroom is dirty. not properly maintained. lobby is not spacious and no reason for you to roam around. Staff is not that friendly. They just provide your needs but they don't make a smile. Guards outside are not...

I stayed at a single room with great view of Osmeña Blvd during my first visit but opted to a standard double room in my second. I had no idea that I won't be getting any windows with standard room which was petty disappointing. There is nothing fancy in the standard room, the wall is just fairly finished and enamel...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
GV Hotel is one of the fastest growing budget hotel groups in the Philippines. With 22 branches strategically located all over key places in the country, the GV Hotel Group has also become one of the largest provider of great value accommodations in the Philippine hospitality industry. With its rapid expansion in Visayas, Mindanao and Luzon since starting out in 1999, the GV Hotel Group has become synonymous with quality, service and value for money for the tourist, ahente (sales agent) and negosyante (businessmen/women) market. With no frills practical accommodation, the hotel caters to basic needs whilst ensuring a safe stay during one’s travels. As testimony to the company’s vision and commitment to providing affordable accommodation, GV Tower Hotel was completed in October 2006. The largest branch as of date (June 2013), the GV Tower can accommodate bigger functions and special events; and being one of the tallest buildings in downtown Cebu City, it offers an excellent view of the city and ease of access to the significant tourist spots, such as the Sto Nino Basilica & Magellan’s Cross, as well as access to the Major Markets in Downtown Cebu City.Staying at any GV Hotels is perfect if you’re traveling for business where you will spend most of your time outside on meetings and sales calls. It is also recommended if you’re a tourist who will be outside most of the time appreciating the history, culture, and beauty of the city and province you’re visiting. GV Hotels provides nothing fancy, but it can definitely be the home you can come to at the end of the day to get that good night’s rest. ... more   less
