The Abaca is a beautiful boutique hotel with only 9 rooms. The service is incredible, the attention to detail perfect. The staff make you feel like royalty and no request is too much. They have butler concept so you just call if you need anything...More
There is a reason why this hotel is number one on the island.
Right from when they pick you up at the airport, given a fresh cold towel and cold water you know you are in for a great stay.
Everyone at the hotel is...More
I had read rave reviews of Abaca resort but never really trust such overwhelming positivity until I can experience it myself - the 5* praise was absolutely justified - this resort is incredible and I hope to return very soon. Everything from the private butler...More
We were blown away with this hotel. The rooms, staff, food and general attention detail was second to none. The restaurant was always busy with guests from outside the hotel, and this is no surprise as it was the best food we had in the...More

I went three island hopping with BBQ tour, reserved via online. Ocean was deep blue and as for fish, I saw many but I did not see much of colorful...blue, yellow, or reddish fishes out there. Some tour has a wild "whale shark" watching snorkel tour. You may want to check that out too.
One other thing. You may be alright but ocean I went for snorkel had many floating leaf which left little scars and itchiness for a week. My friend also had it.
Snorkel tour starts from early morning. If you cannot eat breakfast @ hotel, ask batler. They will make you sandwich in a to go box instead. Enjoy!
