Sir Bob made all the effort to answer our inquiries as to how to reach "Main Street Pension House" even when we arrived really early in the morning. The place is clean, quiet, and so homey that we extended our stay for another night. Ate Cora, the attendant, is very charming and shows a real interest to assist to reach... More

I usually book my friends here all the time. Manang Cora, the attendant is very friendly and gracious. She makes every effort to make you stay comfortable. I think it is an old house that they converted and renovated to a pension house. The rooms are clean, bed is well made, and the bathrooms/toilets are so clean that I could... More

My friend and I stayed in Mainstreet during our long weekend escapade in Negros Occidental. The place is good for backpackers. The owner, Sir Bob made sure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms is spacious and clean. The CR is very spacious compare to othe pension houses and hotel. The tiles are well maintain. The hotel charges 100 pesos... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend this September 2015 for 2 nights. The price was affordable for only 600 php per night. Bathroom and airconditioning inside the room is commendable. There is also a heater and provided towels. The woman at the reception is kind and accommodating. Wifi is pretty fast considering that my boyfriend and i got the first... More

Perfect location out of town for a budget traveller. This old home has been converted into a pensione very well. Room 7 has a great cr (ask ate to make sure the hot water is switched on) great size room, single beds (easy to push together). Good choice of tv channels, table, hanging space, etc. I will stay here again... More

The pension house is across Sea Oil and and beside a Korean restaurant. Lacson is a four lane street but is not in the route of the jeepneys plying the city. The pension house is two long blocks from the corner where the jeepneys pass, no shade in the sidewalks. However, there are "sikads"(tricycles powered by human muscles). Sikad is... More

The place was easy to find since Lacson St. is a major road. It is just across a Seaoil gasoline station and beside a Korean restaurant (Yeon-Sodam). For the price of PHP 550 per night, the room is worth it! As mentioned by other reviewers, the internet connection is very fast. Quite surprising to find such fast connection for its... More

Well to start off, the place is peaceful and quiet even if it's location is along the road (not the main street). It's just a walk away from the main road (Araneta Ave) where you could easily ride a jeepney going to the main parts of the city .It is actually close to Gaisano Mall.Room is nice and clean, with hot... IT's a pension house, not an hotel, so we barely see the staff. Just pay the first night, get the keys, and do your own life. If you have a request, "Cora" the lady in charge will help you with an amazing smile. She took care of my laundry for me and gave me a few advices. The rooms are... More
