It's very dated. But everything is clean and the bed is a bit small but a good matress. The pool is nice. The callcentrers in the hotel make it way less attractive. The breakfast is also nothing special. If you're looking for a overnight place for traveling it is good enough, but for pleasant stays I wouldn't recommand the hotel...

This is no frills hotel but it had everything you need. It is very clean and comfortable. The garden and pool area are nice to relax in. The cafe does some nice reasonably priced food and there is a very good Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel

NO's If you are up for a luxury hotel The place was formerly known as The Bacolod Convention Plaza, it has experienced glorious past, hospitable and respecful staff, rustic though worth the budget. If you want to experience how the city was then book here, other wise look for other upbeat hotel.

Aside from the nice rooms the Hotel is very average. Pool is full of non Hotel guests and very crowed, no chairs at the pool, restaurant nothing special. No walk-in rates. Take it or leave it mentality. But the rooms are very nice.

I stayed here over the Christmas period with my family, the staff are friendly and polite, the room was clean and comfy. Breakfast is a selection of traditional Filipino dishes to choose from which was nice. Pool open all hours. I would stay here again.

Luxur Place is old and dated--TV's a CRT (the black, bulky TV), no bidet, tiny bathtub. It's cheap because it only gives you the basics. You have to pay extra for disposable slippers and bottled water. Tapas Cafe (the hotel restaurant) is unreasonably pricey. More bang for your buck if you call McDo or Jolibee for breakfast. Location is ok...

The LUXUR is definitely an OK Corral, mostly comfortable, with wide open spaces, and a great chuck-wagon right inside; plus a first-rate China food establishment hitched-up right next door. It's a big spread, a couple of pools and a big ole' water fall that's too expensive to turn on. The rooms are big too; everyone gets a big tub, feather...
