Been there two weeks ago with my wife and son and it was a real delight. I put "authentic" as mark of this place because it really is. Everything we ate, the place we stayed ("Vasile" cottage) was authentic. Very clean bathroom and rooms, the towels changed daily, a fridge available, good quality wi-fi and the tv well concealed not...

Of all the places I stayed on my 10 day trip to Romania, this was the most relaxing and most welcoming. It is set slightly out of town up so narrow roads, but my satnav had no problems finding it! The pension is brimming with flowers and is very picturesque. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We ate at the...

The pension includes some one level+ground houses in modern style and some in traditional one, typical for the Romanian region - Bucovina. The location it's quite close to many famous monasteries. At the breakfast you can find a lot of local products (milk, cheese, eggs, fruits) or homemade cookies, but also anything you want from a Swedish buffet. If you...

We had stayed 3 nights in the old traditional houses.. It was a great experience, like going back in time. The houses are well maintained and really take you in the atmosphere of the 19th century. Staff is great, food is excellent (breakfast and dinner), wifi works nice everywhere. Location is excellent, walking distance to the city center. The owner...

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting the painted monastery's. Extremely rustic and authentic but has everything needed. Spotlessly clean with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Romana the owner and her family run an excellent establishment and if it wasn't so far from Westrrn Australia we would visit often. Breakfast was excellent with cream on top of the milk, home made...

We have booked this place for two nights as a group of 4 couples. We stayed only one as we changed our plans, and cancelled on the same day. Ramona, the owner, was extremely generous and didn't charge us for the second night , although we made the reservation few months ago, and we thank her very much. The place...

We have spent here 2 nights in our tour of Moldavian monasteries and it proved to be the Choice! The property is located at the outskirts of the city, so the landscape of the Moldavian hills is fabulous. There are several houses scattered around the property, most of them new. We understood that the old ones were actually reconstructed on...

Four of us thought this would be a good way to experience the land of our ancestors. It was! We enjoyed the accommodations and the service. Staff was friendly and anxious to please. We also enjoyed meeting fellow travelers during meals and comparing notes. Cons: Dinner meals were heavy meat and potato affairs which I'm sure were historically accurate, but...
