Stayed 3 nights on biz trip. Location is good (central) but very far away from metro station. Room is very clean and big, decoration is kichie - a lot of gold, laminated walls, gobelen, red carpets and fake crystal chandeliers. Also the huge problem is thinnes of walls - I was unfortunately a neibour to just married couple, I suppose :) and they spoiled couple of my nights. The staff is friendly, there is a shuttle bus going to Paveletskaya metro station. But you can wait for hours because of the traffic jam. As you see ther is lots of but, but again :) my stay was rather good. The breakfast is good including pelmeni and leaver cutlets :) eggs, sausages, porridge, bit of vegetables and fruits, cheese, pancakes, danone products and freshly baked bread - it was good! Not a huge variety but everything was tasty and fresh. Recommend coming here if you don't care about metro.

It was not easy to find this hotel, as it looks like old factory/office building and it is located amid the real office buildings - I have entered the one, when I was looking for this hotel. However if you ask for help (Russian language is rather the only option for communication in this area) you will be shown the way and it is not problem then. Even if this hotel looks a bit odd, from outside, inside is really new, modern and clean. Room was also OK and spacious enough. Perhaps the bathroom was a bit tiny, but the full option shower cubicle inside made up this little inconvenience.
It was not a problem to communicate with the staff in English, however Russian is definitely more useful and informative option, if you want to obtain some more detailed information.
It is really not far from the Paveletskaya station (15 min. of walk) and hotel offers shuttle bus (it really works). Reasonable price, however I can't describe it as value for money. Perhaps 3.5 note would be more adequate, however taking into account everything, I am assessing the whole deal as as average.

This is a strange hotel. It is new and has a modem decor with some Renaissance artwork. The rooms are very small with a tiny bathroom and a cut size shower. It's hard to stay here any length of time and feel comfortable.

Staff speak very little English and are not at all friendly. Breakfast is okay, but again lacks any warmth in atmosphere.

The biggest problem with this hotel though is its location. It is not at all easy to find being located away from anything remotely interesting or useful. There are no restaurants or bars nearby. The nearest Metro is a 15 minute walk away and not that easy to find. The hotel provides a shuttle to get there (although this shuttle drops you a good 300 meters from the station), but you have to try and call the hotel to get the shuttle to pick you up - not easy with the language issue.

If this hotel was reasonably priced it would be okay, but it cost 150 euro per night. In my opinion it would be better to look elsewhere.

First of all it took me about 45 mins of roaming around the neighbouhood before I could locate the hotel. There is a small sign on the main road in Russian but for someone who cannot read russian it is impossible to find the place.
Secondly, there is no lift (at least in new block) so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up three flights of stairs
Third, I was famished and tired by the time I reached my room so I just wanted to sit in the room and have my lunch (it was 3pm by the time) I ordered room service and was told that no one is free to come and serve me so they can take room service orders only an hour later. So I walked into the restaurant and there were just two people there.
Keeping aside all of this, the rooms are too small with barely space for a bed and the window opens onto a roof where people who clean the place were found walking around and thereby looking into my room through the window
One of the receptionists was really sweet and could speak english. She helped us get a cab to the airport and kept my luggage. The lady in the restaurant was also really nice.
However, overall it was a bad experience.

I booked this hotel as accommodation in Moscow was running out because of the World Cup and it had decent booking dot com reviews, boy what a monumental mistake that was. Here are some of the main issues:

1) rooms : I had to change rooms twice in a 4 day stay. First room the electricty was faulty and all appliances and lights in room didn’t work. Second room the AC didn’t work . Overall room while ok in size but it was damp, old and unclean as I found a variety of insects. The window broke while I was there.

2) service : staff barely speak English and are untrained to deal with travelers. There is not manager on duty, just a bunch of teenagers at the reception desk.

3) breakfast : very basic toast and cheeses and some very old meat sausages. Juice poured straight from box and coffee machine wasn’t working properly.

4) location: for us this was the major problem. I can live with the above issues if the location is good , but the location of the hotel is disastrous. The closest train station is 30 minutes walk away. The hotel has a bus that goes every hour to the station, so you have to wait for that, or pay a taxi to take you to the station, as well as a taxi to take you back to hotel from the station. Once you take train, you are still far from everything else in Moscow.

I have stayed in some bad hotels over the years , but Gallery Park has to be the worst hotel I stayed in. Overall, I would seriously avoid.

I stayed at Gallery Park for 2 nights while in Moscow to attend FIFA World Cup Semifinal 2 game. While booking, I was looking for a hotel that was close to Luzhniki stadium and along public transportation stops and Gallery Park was one of the last few that had rooms available. From Paveletskaya Metro station, Gallery Park is a 15 min ride by bus 106 or 158 to Derbenevskaya Embankment followed by a short 5 min walk. The hotel is 2 blocks behind the bus stop. There are security guards manning a parking gate arm 1 block behind the bus stop leading to some office buildings and the hotel is right behind these. I walked from the bus stop to the hotel at midnight following the completion of England vs Croatia game and had no problems. It was quiet but didn't feel unsafe. There is also a complimentary hotel shuttle that runs every hour to Paveletskaya station which I used once but it felt hot and stuffy inside and so I took bus 632 back to Paveletskaya station on another day. To go to Red Square, I took bus 158 from Derbenevskaya Emb. to Krasnaya Square the following day and it was a 20 min trip. On my check-out day, from Paveletskaya to Sheremetyevo airport, I took metro line 2 to Rechnoy Vokzal and caught marshrutka 949 to SVO and the whole trip took around 1.5 hours. So unlike what recent reviews state, in my opinion, this hotel is well-connected to Moscow's landmarks. You just need to use Google Maps to figure it out. This is not rocket science. As for check-in, it took a while because the front desk called me back to make new copies of my documents. I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor of the 2nd wing and the room looked beautiful and opulent to my eye. The 2nd wing seemed deserted and I didn't see anyone during the 2 nights I spent in that building. There's no elevator so I had to lug my suitcase up the staircase and the paintings at each level were a sight to behold. The highlight of the room was the closed shower stall in the bathroom. It felt cramped but had some cool fixtures. If only the digital controls for the audio system in the shower stall had worked...
My only regret is missing out on the free breakfast on the morning following the game because I woke up late. But based on other reviews, it appears it was run-of-the-mill so I'm glad I didn't miss much. Room service did their job well and I have no complaints. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Gallery Park and if in Moscow again, I wouldn't hesitate to check-in here.

I don't have much experience with hotels in Russia, but don't expect a warm 'welcome to the Gallery Park Hotel'. But reception staff at every hotel I have stayed in here make you feel like they are doing you a favour. Rooms are fine. Breakfast fine. I had brown water from the tap and one evening water only got lukewarm water. It is a long walk to Paveletskya train station, where, with the metro, Moscow is your oyster. But there is a half hourly shuttle bus transfer.

If you travel over weekend this hotel comes at a bargain by Moscow prices 2500-2900 rubles per night. Ideal for those with a car but I was OK using their shuttle and walking back. Clean, modern, comfortable room, good service, reasonable breakfast. Well, it could have been closer or a safe could have been larger or ... well, then it would be couple of thousands more expensive. So for the price it was fine.

I stayed at the Gallery Park for 4 nights (on business). The hotel is sited in what used to be an office building or factory, and as other reviewers have stated it is situated among office buildings and older factories. The location is relatively quiet as it is off the main road running along the river, but the hotel is quite difficult to locate, being hidden behind other buildings. The wifi is free and is fast; the rooms (I had a single room) are very compact (about 8 - 9 square meters max), they are clean, the bed, pillow and linens are comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny. The rooms have a/c. The windows are large and the curtains are thin - in the summer with 'white nights' be prepared. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

What is odd about the rooms are the thin walls - my colleague and myself were able to conduct conversations through the wall whilst sitting at our tiny faux-renaissance desks !!!! Earplugs were essential at night in order to sleep if the neighboring room occupant was watching TV or was doing anything else. The staff speak little english, but that was not a great problem for me.

The hotel is about 3miles south of the centre of Moscow (so not central), it is close to the river and as a runner I enjoyed several long runs along the river embankment up to the Kremlin. It is also relatively close to the railway link to Domodedovo, which is an advantage. I found the walk to the metro in the morning fine it is easy to get to and about 10 - 15 mins away. Overall, despite the quirks it was reasonable value for Moscow (where one can pay a small fortune for hotel accommodation).

New hotel in 10 min from Paveletsky railway station by walk. The shuttle bus to metro is available. Standart room is small (14 m2) but good. 4300 rouble (about $135) per night incl. breakfast. Not cheap, but not bad for Moscow
