This hotel is very impressive the lobby and public areas are very grand indeed and look fantastic. Booking in was very good great staff very helpful.

The room was very nice with triple glazing so very quite, the room itself had everything that was needed and you couldn’t hear anything at all which is refreshing.

It's such a shame the breakfast service lets it all down... We had breakfast 2 days running and neither day was particularly good. On day one we arrived to be seated marked off the the sheet and told to find a seat.. Well I don't think the room could hold even 1/2 the hotels guests it was very small and therefore we and about 5 other couples were left to try and find tables in a room that was full! eventually we were led to a side room where they hastily laid some tables to seat the overflow..

Day one my wife ordered an omelette this took over 30 minutes to arrive! (it was very nice but too long to wait in a 5 star hotel) The cooked breakfast was fine except the area where the food is served is so small its difficult to get into with the number of people getting breakfast so not overly impressed..

Day two managed to find a table in the main room result! didn't bother with the omelette! went to get the cooked breakfast and hash browns had all gone asked if they could bring some more and was told in a minute... 20 minutes later they arrived (at the table which was great) only problem I'd already eaten most of my breakfast so a bit late sadly! again we noticed people wandering around looking for tables because the room was full again (situation where you leave hats glasses and anything else to make sure no one else takes your table!)

I can't believe that a hotel of this class and size doesn't know how many people they may have for breakfast and wait until there is an over spill to lay additional tables in another room?

Its a shame because every other aspect of the hotel is great

Excellent value, convenient for train to St Petersburg (across the road) and the metro which is a tourist attraction by itself.

Just checked out from 5 nights over NYE.
Location is a few metro stops from Red Square, but easy access and the price reflects this, as hotels near red sq are much more expensive.

As a diamond member I was upgraded to an executive room which was spacious and typically fitted out.

The executive lounge was good, and served effectively full meals (pasta, stews etc.) at supper if you don’t feel like heading out.

Pool, gym all reasonable and quiet the times I were there.

Can recommend, though there is more luxury found at a cost more central if so desired.

Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya is located right next to Leningradsky Railway station (where Sapsan trains from St. Petersburg terminates) as well as Komsomolskaya Metro stop (Line 1, Line 5). It is about 30 km from Sheremetyevo International Airport and 55 km from Moscow Domodedovo airport. The hotel building is one of the Seven Sisters skyscrapers of Moscow. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel using cash rates.

The room was fairly large with plenty of space. The carpet could use a bit of cleaning though.

Being Hilton Gold members, we got complimentary breakfast at the Executive lounge but chose to have it in the restaurant instead. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and service was pretty good.

We did stop by the Executive Lounge a few days in the afternoon and the attendant was very courteous and helpful. He even inquired as to why we were not availing the complimentary breakfast buffet in the lounge!!

Thumbs up:

Superb location in the city right next to 2 train station – Leningradsky Railway station (Where Sapsan trains from St. Petersburg terminates) and Komsomolskaya Metro stop (Line 1, Line 5)
Extensive selection of breakfast buffet at the restaurant
Good cash rates during our stay

Thumbs down:

We had issues a few times with online-app cabs (Yandex.taxi) to pick up from this hotel

I was expecting a 5 star hotel that felt more 4 stars because it was much cheaper than the other ones. It was actually excellent, in an amazing building, very kind service and really really good. The public areas are beautiful. My room was big and the bed, linens and pillow very very good. Only let down in the room was the WC getting a bit old and specially the wifi working very badly (I was in a room at the very end of the corridor). Breakfast was very good with an excellent staff always helping. The hotel is a bit far from the center but you can get a cab with a local APP for around 3€, that more than compensates for paying a lower cost. Will be back, excellent hotel.

I booked this hotel initially based on price and then realized that it was in one of the Stalinist seven sisters buildings which is an attraction in itself. As an added draw it is situated very close to Leningradsky Station where trains from St Petersburg arrive into Moscow. Close enough to be seen when exiting the station and about 10 minutes walk most of which time is spent standing at the two incredibly slow pedestrian crossings along the way. (Without those it would be 5 minutes at the most.)

There is no sign showing where to enter the hotel but once found the hotel's lobby is a cavernous, gold plated extravagance with huge chandeliers. Exactly, what one would anticipate in this type of building. The multiple front desk staff that I interacted with over my 2 night's stay all spoke good English and went out of their way to be helpful and charming. They could give a few lessons to Hilton staff in other geographies.

I was upgraded to a larger room on a high floor based on Hilton Gold status which was perfect in an old fashioned, corporate hotel style. A big bed, desk, lounge chair, and minibar plus enough room to move around without bumping into anything. The bathroom had a shower and tub with the toilet in a separate room. There were two big windows with a "city" view. I suspect that all rooms have a city view given the location and Moscow's sprawl. My tariff included breakfast which came as a good buffet with lots of choices. I was also able to use the executive lounge based on my status. It was fairly simple compared with some but adequate with dinner served each night from 6-8 PM. Once again, the staff in the breakfast restaurant and the executive lounge were proactively helpful and charming.

There is a metro station in Leningradsky Station with 2 lines giving easy and fast access to the central city area.

I was very pleased with this hotel and particularly compliment the staff for making me fell welcome and well looked after. I will definitely return when next in Moscow.

There is no clear guest meeting in this hotel, and you can not get help with your lagage, the common rules, that are clearly stated at the entrance due to COVID are not followed: lots of people entering hotel without masks, guard and reception are very relaxed about controlling that. Also, all over the hotel, including the lift you can meet people without the mask. Temperature at the entrance is not measured to.
If I would be asked, I would say you are not safe here at all. On top of that, there is no menu in the room for ordering meal inside, but also no QR code to download. The room was not taken care of when I returned at 14:00 , so I had to look for the landlady myself and ask her to at least take away dirty dishes. I had to call room service (that ended up at reception ) to ask for a menu twice - but it is still not here after 20 minutes. The dress can not be taken care of at the evening and they do not know how to get her the dress for cleaning also. So, anything you with expect for the Hilton hotel will NOT be here: just an endless line of disappointment

Dear Guest! First and foremost, thank you for having chosen Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya as the hotel of choice for your recent stay. Thank you for taking a moment to leave such a detailed feedback on your stay, which to our great frustration turned out to be below your expectation. Please be assured that all of your commentaries have been brought to the attention of our Front Office and Security department’s directors. Allow me, however, to comment on the incident you mentioned. At the entrance to the hotel, the temperature of the guests is measured, and medical masks and sanitizer are also issued, as well as at reception and main zones of our hotel. There are also information signs in all guest areas such as the lobby, elevators, restaurant, bar and spa area. The room service menu is presented via QR code and it is placed on the table in every room. Room cleaning starts from 9 am to 6 pm and is carried out throughout the day. You can also always ask for cleaning at a convenient time for you. Please also be informed, that laundry services are available from 8 am to 8 pm every day. We once again thank you for your feedback and we most certainly do look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel as our valued guest in the future.

I am a diamond member and stayed at a lot of places recently and this unfortunately feel short of its usual high standards. Check in was great and seem less and they took what I thought was a deposit of the room as is always done but when I ordered room service the waiter asked me to pay and I said put it on my room where I was told I have left no deposit after calling downstairs was told they took payment for the room and no deposit which I have not heard of for a diamond member and had to pay by card. Food was a bit cold and my drink I ordered was missing so brought up another drink.

Room was nice and clean and was upgraded, went down for breakfast and a lot of people were not wearing masks when descending food and no gloves as per other Hilton hotels on utensils (which I think is a great idea) and I actually felt uncomfortable eating here for Covid.

It was my first time to visit Moscow and my partner booked this amazing hotel and stayed there for a week. I was in awe with the facade and interior of the hotel! If you are the type of traveller who enjoys old historical architecture, then I would definitely recommend booking this hotel. Very soviet, I love it! Food and Beverage service in the main restaurant and in the lounge is superb! We also tried the Spa which is a must after having a long walk in the city. Housekeeping never missed a day to clean our room and refill the amenities. Furthermore, the location is also very convenient! There's a nearby bank to exchange money, and also metro and railway station just across the building. For international travellers, there is an outsourced Company conducting PCR tests daily in the property, however, I suggest to book it outside so you can have a much affordable price. Overall, it was an amazing stay! Dosvidanya and spasibo!

My review is long time overdue. Been staying at this hotel since 2009 and can’t be happy about about being home away from home here.
This five-star hotel is nested in an amazing historical building (one of Moscow’s so-called Stalin skyscrapers) right next to the Three train stations square (including Leningradsky train station where you can catch the Sapsan high speed train and be in Saint Petersburg in three and half hours), close to the Garden ring and major public transportation routes (metro, MCD - suburban trains and streetcars). The hotel’s impressive lobby would be your first wow moment, have a drink or a quick bite at the lobby bar, their menu is good, and you won’t leave hungry.
Janus restaurant is phenomenal, with a wonderful selection of the breakfast items (don’t miss the cook to order station).
The hotel offers a complimentary hotel tour for its guests every weekend so you can see what’s going on behind the scenes.
Rooms are magnificent, they are spacious, upgrade yourself into a junior suite or an executive room, it’s so worth it!
The gym and spa facilities are good, there’s a pool and sauna as well on the underground level, haven’t used it much but room a look and it looks great. They even do aqua robica (exercising in water) as part of the activities offered to the hotel’s guests.
I also saw few weddings (I am jealous about the pictures taken in this beautiful decor) and meetings (crowded but never disturbing, the hotel manages it very well).
Last but not the least, the staff and the management. The service is immaculate and you never feel just a guest, the hotel’s team makes you feel part of this hotel so you want to come back even before leaving the property. The list of names would be too long to put here so I thank you all for treating your guests as part of the legendary hotel’s community. Wishing you to grow, be busy, but also to have fun! As I said, I haven’t left the hotel yet but I already want to come back. Will miss you all. Sincerely, Sergey V.

I checked-in room was extremely hot ask for help after a while I been told this room has major issue better I should change my room. Called front office they instructed me to physically go to reception to request which I did. The FD director made sure that I am not making up things and made me wait until she completed her investigation ang agreed to change my room after min of 2 hours, I agreed that I will wait and not unpack. After 2 hours I followed up she was trying to say they are very busy and no rooms ready, by now I got bit nervous she immediately found a room to my good luck.
Last night was the worse service experience ever I had from a known & well-respected brand.
I called room service asked if they could make a seafood pizza they confirmed YES and I ask for if they can prepare a Tom Yum soup with only seafood no meat items and I got confirmation it will be delivered in 20-30 min.
After a while front desk called back sorry, they can not make seafood pizza, can they offer me something else I ask for Risotto with seafood they said YES. After a while another call no they can not do even risotto why I don’t try seafood plater (upselling) I agreed.
After almost 30 min my order arrived, I paid sign bill etc, wanted to start there was no Spoon so I started wondering how to have my soup before it gets cold and there was just a pcs of bread with no butter etc.
I called room service no answer, call front office and demand speaking to manager by now lost my appetite and mood for my dinner. She transfer the line to manager and for a very long time no one came online I called again same thing by now I started getting angry and walked to reception with a video of the food, I was told no manager on duty, will send me spoon told them the soup will be cold they said we will send you another soup, after 20 min I try to follow up and this time they said they cant serve me soup anymore because even the soup they send me had chicken THANKS God I did not had it, they could have told this 20 min earlier. Really such a historical hotel in one of my favorite cities around the world with this level of service is heartbreaking under such respective flagship brand.
They only one person in the entire hotel who knows how to handle/please the guests is the a senior person at bell desk he is really fantastic and I am glad at least one good thing I am writing and carrying with me during my this trip.
